during Lee's days, Jackie was one of his stuntman ..

Jackie was trained by Yu Chan-yuan .. along with Sammo Hung and others.. there are 7 of them.. mostly active in HK action movies ..

I believe Jackie Chan's first film appearance was as one of the multitude henchmen in Bruce Lee's "Enter the Dragon". He survived - as with all henchmen - one punch.

In his autobiography, "I Am Jackie Chan," Jackie talks about working as a stuntman/henchman with Bruce Lee. He tells a story about how during one scene Bruce Lee forgot to pull his hit and hit him full force in the side of the face. I want to say it was with nun chucks but it's been a few years since I read the book. Anyway, he said that for the duration of filming anytime Bruce Lee saw him he would apologize.

If you happen to see a copy of it I recommend reading it. It's a interesting look into his life and the Hong Kong and Hollywood movie experience, plus he has a lot of good stories about other stars and stunts gone bad as well as trying to order breakfast in LA when the only English he knew was "hamburger and fries."

Jackie Chan is untouchable. Bruce Lee might have been up there with Jackie but too bad he was killed. There are a lot of jackie chan wannabe's, but I really doubt anyone has the balls to do what he does.

That book is awesome, it doesn't feel like a biography as it does a story. His childhood was ,for me at least, really compelling.

yea... this guy is cool but i have to say that all of his stuntman are superb. you can see them actually got hit real hard in slow-mo .. this guy is good at fighting ... and some nice little tricks .. but still far away from jackie .. very few poeple would actually try what jackie did in some of his movies .. without any safety nonsense.. it takes lotsa ballz ..
