Cheese:
1) The binding force of the food industry.
2) When bacteria is a good thing for food.
3) Exists in five states of matter.*
4) I must eat you before I love you.

Ementhaler Swiss Cheese is the best. Although real cheddar, the kind with actual wax surrounding it, is a close second.

Your thoughts on cheese?

* = Still to be evaluated by the FDA and the NSF.

I like Gouda cheese, and Munster cheese, and a nice sharp cheddar.

I used to like those chese and nut logs but now they taste gross to me.

MMmmm

Emmental, Edam, Brie, Le Roule, Boursin, Parmesano, Goats Cheese, Feta.

I love it all. :)

Babybell is nice to. :)

I love that cheddar with the wax surrounding it, expensive though.

What's the smoky flavoured cheese called ?

If I had to live on any one food, I’d easily choose cheese. Sure, I’d die pretty soon, but at least I’d enjoy it. :) I’ll eat basically any kind of cheese out there, except some of the crappier processed stuff. The stronger the cheese, the better – hell, I could eat feta by the handful if I wanted to.

I like smoked applewood cheese, red leicester and stilton with cranberries.

I love cheese too. But Babybel tastes like plastic to me.:yuck:

Quite strange seeing as you are The Cracker.

I would have thought the two would go together quite well. :)

I'm partial to havarti
put a slice of that on some tomato basil turkey and rye bread and melt it in the toaster oven, then dip it in bbq sauce.....

perfect

oh, and feta and gouda are good too 👍
but that blue cheese... 👎👎

I love cheese...and I eat cheese most in our family as well.

Gouda is smoky-flavored, usually.

Oddly, I like blue cheese dressing but not blue cheese itself.

And feta--I forgot about feta--soooo good on pizza.

Not since you made this thread it's not! ;)

I'm not a big fan of cheese, I never eat it raw, I occasionally have it on pizzas and I very occasionally have mild cheddar roasted cheese.

It's funny how the google ads apply to the subject of the thread.
Never noticed it before

It's good on pasta as well. The pasta place on campus here puts it in some of their dishes [I'm having penne primavera with chicken and feta right now]

I am a huge fan of some nice spicy and flavourful soft cheeses. Also love the cheese fondu. Extra Nippy white cheddar is another choice I would not live without!

👍 I'll have to try that when I get home and can cook my own meals, it sounds good

An add about dutch cheese! Go Holland!
I dunno why we're called the cheese country but well....I guess everyone loves cheese:)

Blue cheeses rule! :D

Stilton, Gorgonzola, Danish Blue, Dolcellate, Cambazola......

I love to make Lasagne using a blue cheese sauce instead of boring old parmesan or ricotta, sooooo much tastier!

Huge fan of my home county, Cheshire cheese too. Salty and crumbly. mmmmmmm! :)
Also love Sage Derby but it's unusual to find it in the US, mmmmmm green cheese! :boggled:
There's a place in Sonoma, CA that makes an awesome Habanero Jack cheese too! It's wonderfully spicy! 👍
