I decided to change it up as it was the last race in the series, used a Jaguar XFR... Lets just say I'm watching myself cruise around the track on the 2nd lap as my tires were ruined around 1/3s of the way round.

R.I.P. Jaguar XFR

In other news my BMW 135i is now sitting in the garage forever more (well this one anyway - the others are running nicely at different tunes). At least I can now say it's time to find myself a car for the SSS, well more double check the Evo 6 is for me!

OOOh yeah I really like the looks of all Jaguars... and then I can't drive them to save my life. LOL They're tough. I wonder if in the right hands, they would do well or if not. But certainly not in mine. I wouldn't even try it in public :ouch:, so my hat's off to your bravery. 👍 haha.
I do understand about the 135i. I like it though, a lot more than I expected. But I'm betting that it's a lot easier to handle at say 475pp.

Darn that I missed the race. I was looking forward to it. I came here to see the finish results, because 19L is so lightning fast with posting the results often, I figured they might be up already.

Race results are up.

On Jags, they have great legs on the straights, not so nimble in tight corners...especially not in my S-Type "Limo". However, being of such a long wheelbase, it's incredibly stable. It can cut it in the twisties, but you have to be really smooth, and assertive in the turns - handled right, it's as quick as anything. Once had an epic fight with Bob's M5 at the Valley...

Together, xku's Jag and my Merc we sounded like the beasts of hell. It was a great race at the start although xku's Jag had shredded it's tires.

Man, it was a close race at the start though. It's been a great series and can't wait until SSS.

The hell beasts of nurburg!
