Howdy! I'd like to hear your opinion of, wich, are to you, the thoughest 5 races in GT3 and, why? Good input/output only, please!! 👍 Thanks!

Good input/output only, please!!
I was going to post here, but then I didn't know if my input was good or not, so I decided not to post. How do I find out if it's good input without inputting it?

Go ahead and input it, and hope the output isn't smelly. (:

Toughest races would have to be the Zonda stuff in Pro, the various Vitz races, and not falling asleep during the Super Speedway endurance.

The toughest thing in GT3 for average races or new players is probably the Pro Vitz / Yarris race at SS11.
The last race in the Amateur Gran Turismo World Championship at Grand Valley is tough in a compariable HP car because the AI Viper gets a huge catch up boost. Take some extra horses here and hard T2 tires.
The Lotus Elise series is tough when you are not used to driving this car (Spin out when touching kerbs). After some practice it gets easier.
Also a tough race is in Pro Gran Turismo World Championship at Midfield. The AI gain a huge speed up here compared to the other races in the series.
Any race event you go to in an under powered car. Sometimes it is hard to know what the AI is going to run like. example. Beginner Altezza race.

Took me forever to beat that with the C12s. I could win all of them exept for Rome. Have always hated that course.

I hope he was being sarcastic :ouch:

We all know these two races were both at Rome dont we. 👍

I remember when I though the vits race was hard. Then I found the elise trophy. once you learn the ropes (driving and tuning) the competion in the vits race starts to fall away, but both the Elise and Zonda cups are still burned into my subconcious. the elise race was still hard for me redoing it a few months ago with the 190. It was impossible for me, (I kept hitting the rumble strip) and I had to go with the motorsport. As for the Zonda race, you couldn't pay me to do it again. I found myself hopelessly in last place with the C12S, and to top it all off, I hate that car. The headlights and the way the roof meets the rear deck is just ugly. I've never touched that race in over a year since I first completed it with the Zonda race car and sold that thing prompty off my main memory card.

Hey, thanks for all the input/output, smelly or not. bring it on, i have air freshners  👍
The Elise trophy at Deep forest, was the thoughest for me, but now that i've learned the track/tweaks of settings/etc..., i improved alot and up untill yesterday, the Vitz SSR11, was my second choice. Yes, the Zonda races, using the C12/C12S, were upp-solutely.... :scared: i tried with different settings, less or more HP, even up to 900+hp, only to spin out at almost every corner. But with persistance, i eventually got it, only to be disappointed (almost) in winning the Zonda race car, wich i wished i had earlier to do this race!! With the Zonda race car, it's a laugh 👍

Elise series was tough, but I did it in the 190. 3 golds and 2 bronzes were enough for a 2 pt lead over the motor sport elises. But that was the toughest series I've faced in a while.

i really enjoyed the zonda races, the reverse one drove me nuts, finished second several times :(

but they were sooooo rewarding finishing them!

Definitely the Zonda cup. Took me about 6 months of trying on and off to beat it. I never had trouble with the Elise cup but I was using a Motorsport Elise. The Vitz cup was minorly difficult. Test course race in that series was majorly boring i was watching a movie at the same time.

I found that using the C12S at the Zonda races the trick was to get pole by using soft tires and big horsepower. Put hard tires on and drop power for the race and try to stay out front and let the AI pack waste time by crashing into themselves and not you. Worked for me.

The hardest race is the formula gt cup and then the manaco enduro just bc the track is super technical and also the zonda race

Toughest races I've done so far:
1. Elise Race - you can never lose concentration for a second or youre done.
2. Pro Vitz Race - Races are real long and the DS2 vibrates up to 6th gear
3. Super Speedway Endurance - Easy race, extremely boring

Still have to tackle the Zonda Race :nervous:

lol that one was funny with my untuned Pennzoil Nismo. I used medium-hards for that race, had the Oreca viper behind me with 2 laps to go. Then he pitted, took on fresh tyres, and then cheated, drove an out-lap 20 seconds faster than the previous fastest lap to catch up. What a d1ckhead.

I held him off to the right-hand last corner, and as we accelerated out of it, I could sense him drawing alongside me. I didn't have the grip. But then... that's what the pitlane entry wall is for...

The a55hole ended up 6th. Serves him right!

I remember the pro FF race at Deep Forest against the Spoon Civic being a challenge. I think I did it in the Xsara my first time through the game, and and Integra Type R the second time through.

like the wind,
because it's so boring that you need a very strong mind to drive this race to the end...

I guess the European GT championship on Amateur, where you can win the Gillet. I only scraped the win by 2 points as the title was decided (literally) at the Rascasse. It was pretty tricky.

The reason being, it was the first competition I drove, and I was not as good as I am now (plus IIRC my car was not very highly tuned). When I did the professional elise race in the 190 I was 4 seconds per lap faster to begin with, because I was experienced at this game, and it was easy. No doubt if I had done it earlier it would have been a challenge.

What I'm saying is, it's hard to tell which competition is the hardest, because the ones you do earlier will always seem harder than the ones you do later.

I'm currently having a lot of trouble with the Pro FF Challenge. Using my Integra, I won the first race easily, the second after retuning, but now, Cote d'Azur is giving me all kinds of fits. I hate this course. Hate it. And I hated it before this latest trouble.

Hi JB! On a previous post, i mentioned to you how to BUY FULLY UPGRADED CARS, did you see it? Using 2 memory cards etc....? If you do that, you can have a fully loaded Acura Type R with 399HP, That should help you win the Pro FF/Cote D'azur.
I just tried in Automatic and finished with a -27'...lead(no pit). Do you try to get to the front of the pack at the very beginning? This is only good if you know the track well and the handling of the car, otherwise, just try to keep up for the first 2/3 laps, learning the track/turns/point of breaking.... race lines etc...., once you've mastered those...... you can tell them: kiss my ...bott-le  These were my settings:
Acura Integra Type R @ 399 HP.(oil change)
Tires: T2f/T4r
Spring rate: 9.4f/7.2r
Ride height: 96 f/r
Shock bound: 3f/r
" " " rebound: 10f/r
Camber angle: 4.8f/3.4r
Toe angle: -0.5f/ 0.0r
Stabilizers: 7f/r
Brake balance: 18f/19r
Limited Slip Initial: 5
" " " " " " " " Accel: 10
" " " " " " " " Decel: 10
Gear ratio: level 22
Final: 4.820
ASM: 6
TCS: 4
If you still have a hard time, try using the Mitsubishy FTO instead and ...good luck! 👍 What other FF cars do you have??

I forgot another easier suggestion, do you have the Citroen Xsara rally car?? 👍 .. Easy as 1...2....Zzzzzzzzz 👍 Have fun!
