That good be a great idea. Maybe a dumb question. But how can I get the replays of these faster guys?

When I think about it Rinsky shared a replay on his gallery earlier. If you add me on PSN (same name) I can always show you my 2:32 although it's not perfect.
I would guess there are racers capable of 2:30's or maybe even less.

@Oemfie78 remember this is one of the harder tracks in the game and more difficult ones to get good times. I am still in the 2:36 which is a lot faster than you but still a lot slower than the fast ones.
The best thing is to join us on our almost daily practice sessions. When you drive behind someone you will get the feeling much much quicker than by yourself or watching replays.

Yes pretty random. So whoever opens a lobby can just mention it here. Its important to use the specs as stated in the OP.

Maybe it's because I use a automatic transmission and I'm under heavy braking more than most. To me it feels like cold tires are not simulated properly until you start the race and it takes my car two laps to start acting like it does in free run Mode on the first lap. Something is ever so slightly different between the two.

when I can, I will certainly participate in the series. I'm just not sure if I'm going to make it because of my work. I hope that this is not a problem. Tonight I will try to make a livery.

So my two fastest laps come around lap 8 then lap 9. That's great news for me seeing as how I can go an extra lap on fuel than most and I'm turning a fast lap in the process. If I can pull that off during the race it should help me hold on to or gain some positions.

Went for a custom race against N300 using the same settings as posted here and managed a 2:35.7 on the penultimate lap of a 20min session. I would say my average lap would be a 2:36 something

How things can change
Back when I first met you on here I was really new to GTS. I was also bouncing back and forth between GT6 & GTS and that made it very hard to get adjusted.
Once GT6 went offline I was able to focus just on GTS. Running the Gr.4 league sure didn't hurt either. The funny thing is I still like to start in the back when I race online. You might even see me do that in this Series from time to time.

Because of the recent problems between players not seeing each other this practice is reserved for Lobby #1 Drivers Only.
We have been working on the issues and might have a solution for them but we won't fully know until I have everyone in the room.
This will only be the race C (40 Minute) event.

It was on the same day last time but I'm not sure of Desertpenguin schedule this week. But it will definitely be soon.
I really don't like doing it this way and
If it wasn't for the issues we had in the first practice I would let anybody in this Tuesday. But because there was I have to make sure those issues are taken care of between everyone running in my race.
This is not a common routine and I really wasn't expecting this many problems seeing as how my Gr.4 endurance race has never had to deal with anything like this.
