Just wondering how many threads people have started and which of their own threads are their favourites.

I've started 36 (not including this one) and my favourite is probably this one (though I don't exactly have a glittering array of them).

If you don't know how to ascertain how many threads you've started, click on your username to get your profile, then click on "Find all threads started by ****", then look at the top of the search results, you should see text "Showing results 1 to 25 of **". I believe the limit of search results is 100 though, so anyone who's started more than 100 threads will only see the first 100 (of however they're sorted).
 
I've only started eight threads in my time here.

I guess I just like joining-in on everyone elses conversations rather than starting my own.

As for my favourite one - I don't know. They're all equally lame I guess... :rolleyes: Maybe this one.

I've got some info. on the way though, so I'm about to start two or three new ones around the place - hopefully people will appreciate them.

Sometimes when I find something cool, I think about starting a thread to tell my fellow GTPlanteers, but halfway through the process I cancel it and think, "Meh, no-one cares about this...".
 
Well it says I've started 28 on my profile, but it sure doesn't seem like that. I thought I've only started around 10 or 12 threads. Kinda brings back memories from my noobish first thread to that one thread where I explained how my parents weren't getting along,then whammo the crappy motherless situation I'm in. Then the threads in which I announced Richard Sainct's and Christopher Reeve's death. Wow, that brings back memories!

Anyways, my favorite thread will probably be the PGR3 thread for now since I haven't really looked.

I’m the same. So many posts/threads that I’ve started typing, then though to myself: “Nah!”
 
8, nothing special about any of them.
This one I didn't even start. Someone (DerAlta, I guess) split it off from a big flamefest of a thread somebody else started.
Standing alone, it's not a great thread, but I'm proud of totally killing all the flaming going on in the original. :D
 
13....favorite? Well perhaps the one about Kaido Battle 3 ... most popular however is my thread about the Browsergame Travian with over 3000 replies and more than 38000 hits... I left the game some time ago (takes a lot of time, which I havn't), people like Boombexus still play it until today, I think even Famine is still playing although on a new server afaik.

My favorite thread... this. Probably since that's where I learned everything about tuning and such. :indiff:

It's kinda funny, since I have 8 locked threads (7 of them locked by myself). It makes me seem at first glance a spammer and the next Y_W. :crazy:
 
I've started 19 threads.

My favourite is propably The DTM thread. Too bad it died. :(

I also enjoyed hosting the Prologue Cup and writing my write-up of the 4hr Nürburgring endurance.

Oh and I haven't gotten a single thread locked! :)

I'm on all three servers.

I started about 100 threads in 2005 alone (first one on the search is 20th January 2005)... By jigging around with view-options I can find 190 threads I've started in total.

My first thread was the Not-The-Nine-Boards Challenge, on 12th March 2003.
My most-replied-to is The Simpsons Quiz Thread at 1,860.
My most-viewed is Wondering What Car to Buy? Try the GT4 Car Database at 46,063.

How often did that happen in your GTP career? any idea? And...when did you start colorating your posts? right at the beginning?
