However, look on the bright side: you've got the photo taken for whenever you find the cable to upload it - you won't need to redo the run :)

On the not-so-bright side, I still can't update the Leaderboard.

When I was on the way home from going out of town (4 hour ride home) I thought to myself that we needed something to keep the speed freaks busy.


So hear is one of my other ideas; weekly speed challenge

Pick a car thats not on the leaderboard (for a few reasons)

Give them a week to test an tune

See whos got the fastest set-up
 
that idea sound pretty cool.

ive been working on my viper and have come to a huge roadblock. ive done everything i possibly can and the highest i have gotten it is 299.21. ive kept messing around with the settings and even reset them back and now i can only reach around 298.50. it so frustrating.
 
I have The Minolta Toyota car and i got it to go 312. I know it kinda suks beign how high the speed records are.
I need help getting my pics and photos on this forum. HELP ME.
 
go to www.imageshack.us, browse to find your picture, check the box that says remove size and resolution bar, the upload. once uploaded ctrl c the line that says thumbnail for forums 1, the ctrl v it in here.

or

do the same thing, browse, upload, then ctrl c the line that says direct link to image. once done click on the yellow thing up top that says insert image ( in the forum ). next ctrl v the url ( what you just ctl c'd ) into the line and press ok. with this make sure your image is around 400 x 300 or else you'll have a huge annoying picture that takes up a good portion of the page.

i could go on with explaining how to use
 
Hmm, I think the idea of a timed competition might have cropped up before... It's entirely up to you guys, but as you might have noticed I'm too short of time to organise or monitor such a thing at daily intervals... Although, setting a challenge at the start of the week and taking in results at the end of the week would not be a problem. It's up to you guys - but if you take cars that aren't on the Leaderboard, do you think you can keep the competition within the thread title?

Well, I hit 349.99 (!) with the r89c, but something happened with the infrared of the pc so I can't copy the photo from my cellphone :grumpy: :grumpy:
 
Ya, I'm having a lot or trouble getting control of her. I know I could hit at least 315 with the settings right now.

I hit 298.9 with a Lotus Esprit V8 '02. I'm determined to break it with that car.
 
Hey Guitar, welcome to GTPlanet.

Yeah, that car does have a lot more in it, its current record is just over 366MPH. At a minimum you should have the Stage 4 turbo as well as Nitrous (and set to max power). That's all I'll say for now other than don't assume anything as far as what settings will be faster - just experiment with everything.

However, joy of joys, the Leaderboard server refuses to work once more, so... Shouldn't be too long before I can get it updated. :indiff:
