has anyone tried the speed twelve? its my fastest car. i test is on le sarthe II
with less than precise tuning i can reach about 310 on the le sarthe straight. try it

im only getting 859hp out of mine, is that the limit?

I haven't heard of a Supra with any more than that... I also haven't heard of one that isn't a 6.2 miler doing 300.

The CIEN is a bit of a dark horse here, not many people have tried it. It's on my 'last resort' list, I expect it'll break 290, maybe more? Keep trying with that one :)

lmracer, that would be the fastest Speed 12 recorded, well done if you can manage that at the Sarthe with all the potholes :p how about doing a run in Max Speed Test to give us an exact fix on your speed?

6.2 mile supra spits out respectable 904 bhp with stage 4 turbo. and that's the one I pushed past 300 mph, even though, I've been too lazy to take a picture.

I hit 291 in the speed twelve on the test course. :irked: All I did was tune it up and messed with the gear ratios.
 
I hate that i will hit a top speed,the game will give me a lower top speed than what I actually accomplished. For example 275 but the track record is only 271. It's like they take the top speed between the finish and the middle of the final strech. :grumpy: Not cool :ouch:
 
It is right on the verge. I've gone through the replay multiple times and entered the snapshot mode to try and get a ground's eye view of the tires. From every angle I looked from I couldn't see air under the tires so I dunno. I did make another run with the ballast one percent farther back and that run managed 356 mph, but a noticeable 4-6 inches of air under the tires by the time the car crossed the line.

But anyway, if more proof is needed, just tell me how and I'll get it taken care of.
 
What's with the recent explosion Audi R8 records? I hope you all know I'm going to have to go after that now (note to self, B-Spec Le Sarthe II :lol:).
 
Maxzillan, well done! But, I can't put that speed on the leaderboard unless I can have video verification for it, sorry - That's the rule over 350mph.
The method of zooming in in Photomode is proabably the best way to do it.

Opendriver, it doesn't look like a wheelie to me, but it could well be extremely close. Gonna need a video.

Oh Toronado, you know that if you get into an R8 I'll have to break mine out from the ESES garage! Bring it on :sly: :lol: (Buy it, ya lazy ---...) :p

Exactly... The rule states 350mph+, so you're just about as close as you can get :p

Ghost, if you can get your Pescarolo to go as fast as my R8 can, please do :) the French just aren't as good! :lol:

Sadly, I'm going to have to withdraw my entry. After reviewing the replays once I had captured them onto the computer, I noticed that it looked like the car really was getting off the ground. So I decided to stop the replay another 50 feet back from the finish line and caught this beuty.



Obviously that just won't do! :ouch:

Ditto :lol: I would never need all that, I'm not particularly extravagant... Although I might well buy the 2003 Pescarolo for it's tyre economy, which is a pretty extravagantly spent 4.5mil :)

What, because you've got one? I know it's not as fast as the R8, so I don't need or want it... I only want the 2003 version for it's superb tyre economy, something I'm not too good with :indiff: and the gearbox it's got, so smooth :)

@Alfa- when you are in the "post mode"
scroll down a bit till you see a "upload images" space
get you photo on there and then click the "host it!" button and then copy the thumbnail 1 for forums
 
Curse you all! Not really, but I need to blame someone for my stupidity. I B-specced Le Sarthe 24 II, only to recieve the Bentley. The bloody Bentley. I don't need an R8 with a roof. I already have one. Oh no, I need a roofless Speed 8. I need am R8. And 4.5 isn't quite a reasonable spend wiht my penny-pinching (can you believe I can buy 4 Chaparral 2J's for that! And all of those are faster than the Audi is!). Oh well, of to B-Speccing Le Sarthe I. My Minolta is going to have 30k on it by race end. Can you believe it's only worth $457,000 now?!
