Like DE stated a few posts ago, do the DTM series instead, if you want big $$$. Slap a stage 4 turbo on the CLK DTM car and B-spec the whole thing in 3x speed and then sell the prizecar. A total of over 900.000 Cr. in under 20 minutes!

No, don't B-Spec it! It's really not as good for your skills or your stats! :p In fact, you can actually earn as much money with the RSC RallyRaid sales nearly as quickly. (Oh, and by the way? It's ~893,000cr, not over 900,000.)

If you're going to leave it there until someone overtakes, B_B_B, looks like I'm going to have to get you :) nice speed.

Sorry FormulaGT but....
I'm back and with a new speed:
366.05 MPH with the Toyota GT-ONE TS020 again
All I really did to my old settings was change the toe, and touched the gears just a little bit. The toe really helped, after I changed it, I got 365.92, about 1.5 MPH faster than my previous record. The gears helped to just inch it over 366.

Nobody ever has two speeds for one car, so don't worry about that.

Donwloading video now... The photo at 366 is not ideal, so I'll have a look at the video to check.

Thanks Alive Ghost, to be honest i never thought speeds like mine or even higher were even remotely possible! But as usual, GT4's limits have been stretched to unimaginable heights!

Still trying to get to 366 MPH, but i'm getting all sorts of 365.xx MPH speeds!:crazy: Wish i could find a quick fix like CoolGeeks, though it doesn't seem likely at this point.

Yeh DE, I plugged my old speakers that work wonders in to my pc as well and then I had 4.1. Then I came to the video. The GT-ONE goes passed the screen and i'm off my chair!!
 
:lol: I had a similar experience! But, I'm on 2.0 Logitech audio, properly loud, so I've got no extra bass from a sub, so I get the super-high-pitched scream as it goes by!

I have totaly exhausted my gear tuning, so all I have left to perfect is downforce and suspension (maybe tyres)

I had driven the Audi R8 and adjusted the most important things, and I reached a speed at 510kmh / 320mph, with nitrous, but this was in free run on TC, so I thought that, if I had tried the MAX speed test I had'nt get that speed, but maybe 300mph or something around that.

exin89, if I'm understanding that post correctly, you're saying you might not reach the same speed in Max Speed Test? Probably not, it's commonly agrred that we can gain a few mph by running a lap or so first, but this is not allowed.

EDIT - Watched your video, Smuttney... The framerate is evil :lol: but I think it's good enough to tell. Legitimate run 👍

I have reached the speed of 512kmh in speed test now, but if I was understanding the rules right, I've thougt it wasnt allowed with N2O, or did I read wrong?

Sorry about my english, Im from Norway and isnt that good in English :p
 
I'll do a better video for you jsut so you can see my 'afterburner' blearing out the back.
I think the brightness was abit to much on the photo though.
I tried a +1 EV.
So I think I'll stick to +0.7 or +0.8 from now on:sly:
I think I'll see about the max speed tonght with the R8. After that its on for the Toyota GT-one Me thinks:) . I really have the knack for this now I hope:idea: 💡 💡
 
Just increaded to a 350.90mph.
An amazing increase of .77mph.
Not much speed in it now. I wont post pics or vid of this cause there is no point when I know I will be going faster (I hope :))

Smuttney, you'll be glad to hear I can't quite reach you - 350.68mph in the Audi R8 this morning. Better than your first 350+, but not on par with your current record! I'll not post up proof, because I'll be bettering this speed soon :)
