Sorry Guys. but in reference to your GT-R proto conversation (Yeah I know, Evesdropping:indiff: :indiff: ) but the car has 856bhp fully tuned. BUT, it will go up slightly 'cause she hasn't been run in yet (only 62miles so far).

Which gives me an idea 💡 💡 💡 💡 💡 💡

Yeah, I would disagree with that too Ghost - None of the 34s seem to be close to capable. A 33 or 32, maybe, because of better aerodynamics and less weight, but it's never been done. The GT-R Proto is more likely because it's more powerful and more aerodynamic than the R34, and it has a fantastic gearbox Remains to be seen, though.

ok, ima drop this bit of info on ya.....remember way back when....long time ago....when i actually tryed the GTR protype? remember that DE? if i remember correctly....i think i failed horribly...and i do not beleive it capable...
 
Ah come on SS, you sure that's all it's got? My 740bhp '33 can do that :)

The Cizeta is a pig. 'Nuff said really... The gearbox really doesn't help. It's just not built to be.. well, good... Although, having said that, you've not changed much.

Perhaps I'll bin the GT-R Proto, then... The racecar has no chance. I'll take your word for the roadcar.

But there's got to be some sort of Skyline that can break 300mph!

Nice run with the R390, Opendriver (Nissan theme this week for us, eh?). Don't know how the speedo could've shown 330, though... :odd:

Concerning Nissans... How would the Falken GT-R do? If it can take the right amount of hp, 900+, it could stand a chance.

And how come the Vette C5R can´t do it? I´ve been trying myself blue with that one! Meh, gonna start myself a new project, so we can have another 300 car up on the board...
 
The Falken GT-R is an intriguing prospect (think I spelt that right :nervous: ), seeing as it's not a JGTC-designed car and is full RWD it may be capable. When I've cleared a few other things off my to-do list, I'll try it :)

You know, on Gran Turismo 3, I used a unlimited speed glitch and got to 1080 on the speed tests. So, I guess you could go up to unlimited speed if you had unlimited course.:sly: Well, I tried the exact same trick on GT4 with the exact same car and the exact same stuff and everything and got up to 320.84.:confused: I guess GT3 just didn't work right.

Correct, but you can still do wheelies (so GT4 doesn´t work right either!), and some people have reached beyond 390 mph with that trick, wich is not allowed in this thread! :)
And in GT3, you could go off the track at some places (possible in GT4 too, search for "twilight zone" to find out more), and I´ve seen a pic of someone travelling at lightspeed with the Escudo.

Interesting comment - the odometer reading is exactly the same as the speedo reading.

I did that in GT3 twice, except it was on the Test Course with the Toyota GT1 TS020. It freezes the game at that speed, thus the perfect opportunity to take a pic. I had a few pics, but I accidentally deleted them. I should do it again, just for the fun of it.

In a way you can do it on GT4, but you need an Action Replay and the Max Turbo boost code. Use any car on the Test Course and just hold the button for the turbo. Eventually you will jump the wall. If you get over the wall, try to straighten yourself out. Then hit the turbo, and hold it as long as you want. I got to 30,000 mph with the Mazda Carol before hehe.

Back on topic:
I still can't get any higher speeds in my Toyota GT-1 TS020....how did Rac3rX do it?
I guess I need to do something really different with the gears to pull off 370.
 
Ok, this what I am About to tell you, may sound a little nuts. The Suzuki Escudo Rally Race Car. I am not talking GT3, I did it in GT4. The same tuning process from GT3. Now in GT3, the car left the ground when you did this. But I twisted this concoction and put Nitrous Oxide on it. In GT3, I didn't get 800 mph I got 500 mph.

So That made me Wonder if I could reach 800 with that.💡 If you own the 2004 PS2 Cheaters Handbook made by PSM, you will know what I am doing. I did all that crap with the gear ratios bla bla bla. I couldn't even tell you where to start. I did all the stuff the book told me to do, and I Went to the track.
The track that I went to was the Test Course (Wasn't Sure It Was Big Enough). I got to the track, pushing the pedal to the metal while it was counting down. (Now just think, one of the fastest rally cars in the world and I'm trying to make it go 800!)

Ok, when the start buzzer rang the Suzuki just jumped into action! It seemed like I was at 200 mph in a matter of seconds! Speedometer flying at blazing speeds! I was surprized that it wasn't doing a wheely like in GT3! Ok, then I was at 600 mph! It wasn't moving any faster, yet I had NoS set at 15+! I hit R1 then I was going even faster! At hard to control speeds I managed to get around corners! I had it at 778 mph! I hit the R1 botton harder and managed to get a huge boost outta it! Now at 799, it seemed like it wouldn't go any faster then BOOOM! I hit it!


I know this sounds like it's not true but it is!
 
I think I would like a video of you booting up the game to prove that you didn't use a Gameshark, ARMax disc or similar device. Even if you provided that, one-off physics glitches are to be ignored.

Seems that we've sunk into a glitch-battle, let's snap out of it now! Anyone got any updates?

Once you wheelie in GT3, hit circle to let off the clutch, and just leave the controller alone. You should hit at least 800 (my best in the Escudo is 900, Toyota GT-1 is 1025 [without the glitch mentioned above])

I finished my entry for GTPDC6, so I will start high speed tuning again, and [hopefully] hit Rac3rX's speed, which I WILL break before 2006 is up
 
Go for Gold, CoolGeeks! I think DE said he would remove RacerWhatever's speed if it was broken, so maybe i'll be able to regain 2nd... Still trying to breach 366. closest so far is around 365.8 MPH. Don't you just love sibling rivalry?:grumpy:

Correct FormulaGT. I think it's stretching things to call Rac3rX's speed a tyranny, but even so it's hovering over the leaderboard and I don't think it deserves to be there at all. So yeah, if one of you hits 368.75mph, then he's gone :) best of luck to you!

Hehe, I had a little fun and tried my TS020 on a circuit practice...I beat the best time on the leaderboard by 2 seconds with a 1' 11.xxx (but didn't submit it, I can get a much better time).

I have an idea to get 370, slight possibility of working, but it will cost 4,500,000 Cr and some tranny time ;)

Oh DE, don't erase Rac3rX's speed until I beat it, even if we find it illegal. Otherwise, there is nothing to look forward to (other than 370)

EDIT: bought a new GT-1, but still the same speed :P. Oh well, I'll use it for my wierd settings ideas

You're JOKING, the board is headed by an Escudo at 1'13? In AUTOMATIC? On R3s??? My R8 is doing sub-1'10s standing start without the last corner, which probably evens out a full flying lap to 1'10.

I'll see what occurs... A 260mph Escudo ain't gonna stand a chance, someone's new to this game!

I am going to have some fun with that, I won't put a submission until I get under 1'00.000 :trouble:. I wonder if 400 is possible without a wheelie?

Plus my 289mph Minolta 1000m run will probably blow away anything that anyone else has thrown up so far.

Do I hear a leaderboard takeover.......?
 
hmh.. everyone is using race cars again.. am I the only one who's still chasing 300 mph with production cars?
 
No you're not Leo, I'm still shooting at the Test Course with some road cars nobody else has thought of... And the GT-R Proto Roadcar is on the waiting list!

Yes I think you do hear a leaderboard takeover coming on :D
