That list looks familiar, Opendriver!

lsaporiti, check the leaderboards from time to time

That's correct Ghost - I don't want to spoil it's purity! But when I get another on my new save, I might :)

I remember trying this same thing in GT1...thats many a year ago...I started off trying to use the Mitsubishi 3000 twin turbo....Got that to around 298Mph...Eventually after trying with the same car for a week i tried one of the Skylines....It was able to be modded both NA and turbo and the power added up unlike most of the cars which one overrides the other....Details are in the "not used" section of my memory. I dont think there was NOS in GT1 so if that same skyline is hiding in GT4 somewhere it may be possible to exceed 300Mph without NOS.

Yep maybe, but then again Gt4 is more accurate in the speeds! But I asume that the skyline may be able to do it despite DE's atempts. But I think he will get there!...1 Day

That's an interesting concept, thedeester. I have heard of that before, but I'm willing to bet that PD did not screw up the programming like that in GT4. It's perfectly possible to break 300mph without N2O (and I have) :)

EJ6_Hatch, nice going with the GT-One - that's very close to dethroning Rac3rX's much-disputed speed. However, I'm going to need a clear video before I put you on the leaderboard 👍

Ghost, nice to know you have faith in me... Sort of... But I'm not sure if you're right or not!

Isaporiti, get a 6.2 mile 300ZX and push it beyond 300mph, and i'll bow to you. I know that it can do it, since I've reached 295 mph already in it.:dopey:

I'm running through enduros to be able to finance a GT-One, aswell as going through Special Condition races with the most valueable(sp?) prize cars so I can sell them :D Toyota RSC Rally version sells for a pretty penny.

Before I graduate to the Sony Company car, I have but one goal left to perform with the Peugoet Pesky, and that is: to beat 335.00 MPH. Then I am officially done with the car for the time being and will even post up my settings (unless I think much more can be extracted:sly:)!

That's nice to hear Toronado, but I bet you won't like the Sony version as much as the all-French V6 screamer!

misfits, which car are you using in the Capri rally to get the RSC? I try not to do it for less than 100 points, it doesn't make me feel as bad

...the key of the Minolta its absulutelly no downforce on front and a little bit on the rear, that way the car flies! but if i add just a little bit on front, the cars a brick!...

Let me tell you, the key to unlocking the Minolta's full potential does not just lie in downforce. But yes, DForce can, potentially, make this speedy beast turn in to a rather sluggish brick.

Still crackin'.............:indiff: no, wait...:)

Thanks, if i was to describe my runs so far, it would be like looking at wave formations. Even with the same settings, it just comes down to timing of shifts and NO2. So much so, that a late or early NO2 igniton of maybe a tenth of a second can limit your max speed. Very strange, and relatively frustrating!:)

Which body style? Z31 or Z32?
Days for the Z31 are 617-623

Z32 twinturbo naturally.. the NA ones are out of question. it'll have 880 bhp and enough torque, i think. it's just about gears, nos and suspension settings. only 5 miles missing.. could as well be 100 mph missing sometimes.. :banghead: :irked:

I cant ind that car. ill let you know when i get it. Are you sure that thing can go that much????

I took the Toyota GT-one(black) (it might have been the black vers R92CP?) and played with the settings... The old "wheelie"-trick. I managed a top 328.xx mph max... had "the old man" laughing almost hysterically... poor guy.

XanDraconus, the GT-One, even a black one, really doesn't need to wheelie to do that ;)

I know what you mean, FormulaGT - I get the same thing with my R8. Same settings, 1.4 to 1.6mph difference... Hmm...

I miss nothing Ghost :p but cheers. I try not to reprimand everyone! :)

I have a new, top-secret project that I'm working on at the moment... You'll know if I succeed :D

Can the Shelby Cobra really go 298 mph??? If so, it can probably go 300 too, but I seriously doubt this. Can anyone confirm?

I'm waiting on a confirmation of that as well, Team666, it seems like a bit of a push... If it can, then we might have a race for 300 on our hands :)
