im barely kissin the 285mph mark in my clk gtr(benz) ,is that the limits of the car? we'll see, ill keep you guyz posted!

I should know, there is a lot more speed in that car:)
I held the record for about 3 days or so till someone took it over. Forget who it is at the moment...check my sig for the leaderboard

This car I did not like that much for top speed. This and the espeante GT1 are some of the more difficult cars to tune. The TVR lacks the high end power than all of the turbo charged cars. However, you can put a turbo on it, but you dont get the hp you need to get 300. Belive me I tried both...
 
I've put on a turbocharger on the Speed 12 and only went around 295mph compared to a supercharged one, which did 300.03mph or something. Maybe it was my settings, but still, for some strange reason turbo provides less power than supercharger!

Agreed. The first time I tried 300 with the Speed 12, I couldn't break 295ish. I couldn't figure out what it was until I equipped the supercharger. I felt so stupid.:dunce:
 
I feel thy pain with the Speed 12, guys - it's one of those weird cars that doesn't reward someone who goes out and buys the most expensive parts :lol: and the top-end torque is a mess because of having to use the Supercharger. It's a bit of a disappointment, really.

It can pull 300 with the turbo though (however, with no way to prove it I won't submit a speed. It's in the ballpark of 303 though after gearing it specifically for the turbo).

Yeah, it goes along very well, but that car isnt meant to be driven in high-speed races. I was sort of disappointed, believing that it will go around 310mph.
 
By the way, DE, I'm thinking about taking on Rac3rX's R-390 GT1 road car speed (the one that got him banned oh so many months ago.)

btw, FormulaGT has two of this car time in leader board, entry 3 and 7. Do one people can have two entry for the same car? If it should only one entry that allowed, you can find it easier by opening leaderboard htm in excel and sort it by people and car. This is what I find in current leader board:

Go here. If you don't want to do that, I'll just tell you: he was an @$$hole if you even question him, and took his speeds too seriously. Basically, it was around whether the Speed 12 was a race car or not, and he resorted to personal assaults on DE and Ozmac because DE classed the Speed 12 as a race car and Ozmac questioned his speeds. This was Spetember. In November, he submitted the above offending shot and me and him squabbled over the merits of the what is a "road car" with this post:

Well, I look at it like this:
Just because it wasn't purpose built for Le Mans doesn't mean it wasn't built with Le Mans in mind. The Cerbera is ratehr skecthy, I'll say, but the R390 is less so. They didn't exactly change that much when they made it a race car, besides adding a spoiler and foglights. And it was built to fit exact FIA GT1 requirements.

Your right, it was Built as a Road Car with LM in Mind. However its still a road car.

It being really fast should be the only reason to disqualify it.

The Qualifications should be Simple.

If the Game Lets you Race with it in Production Car Only races ITs A Production Car!

If the Game lets you Race with it Race Car Only Races, Its a Race Car!!

To Sum it Up, If the Game Says its a Production car, Its A Production Car, If the Game Says its a Race Car, Its A Race Car!

But, if we have to be dificult and go further then that.

If you are permited to drive it on the street legally in the real world, its a Production Car, If you cant Its Not.

And The reason "after modded it would never be permited to drive on the street" is Not a excuse, because you wouldnt be permited to drive ANY of the cars once fully upgraded.

And the TVR I find to be the Biggest Joke, THERE is nothing to disqualify it at all.

(Forget the Fact its A few mph off the curent fastest road car LSR ta boot)

2 + 2 = 4 Simple as that.

People thought the Cerebera Speed 12 was the Speed 12 (2 Diferent Cars)

Its one thing to make a mistake based on a confusion & realize it, to srill dismiss it even after its been proven to have gone to production (It being canceled and not going to production being the reason its considered a "Race Car" but this was the fate of thhe Speed 12 not the Cerebera Speed 12, people really need to understand they are NOT THE SAME CAR!!!!

So, basically he ignored the fact that it was purpose built exactly like it was the Dauer 962 LM, and when I said I happened to agree with him on the subject of the Cerbera, he totally lost it and misread my support as an okay to attack DE and Ozmac personally again, assuming I would follow him to the end. Needless to say, I didn't and he was banned for being a prick.
To answer your second question, Rac3rX was really a bloody brilliant tuner, and DE doesn't want to take down the record speed until someone beats it.

I say no. As deplorable as his character was, he really was very fast, and although I do have a speed done that is faster than his, I am having much trouble getting a video of it up. I can PM you the stuff I sent DE though on the subject, if you'd like.
Edit: suchayo, now I need to buy a new R-390 GT1 LM as well as a new R-390 street version.

Yes, but all I have is settings and a step-by-step walkthrough with which to prove it. I sent it DE in hope he could use it to help prove the speed, but he doesn't have a new TS020.

Because he was, excuse me, an arrogant arse. His speeds are still on the leaderboard because they are no less legitimate whatever kind of person he is, but there is debate over whether he deserves to hold the overall record. I've said many times that if that record is broken, it will be removed entirely.
The quote Toronado found is by no means the most offensive Rac3rX posted, but it alone should give you some idea. I agree with Toronado entirely in what he says in Post #2058. Particularly referring to the comments on his speeds (Post #2060, which I've just read.)

FormulaGT shouldn't hold two spots with the same car, thanks for pointing that out Sucahyo. And well done with all of your speeds, particularly the R8! I'll watch that video in a few minutes.

Toronado, I think I'll revise my decision on your TS020 speed. I don't recall you having beaten the Land Speed Record, but if you have... Well. If you can PM me a photo, a step-by-step guide to driving the car with the settings, as well as any other comments, I will aquire a new TS020 and test it.

Thanks for that heads-up, sucahyo! I've fixed those errors, and I'll do what you suggested to check future updates, thanks! By the way, you hold three consecutive leaderboard spots now :)

EDIT1 - Checking the R8 video...
EDIT2 - ...I'm not sure. The video is just about exactly what I'd ask for, but I am not entirely certain that the fronts are on the ground. The body tilt is extreme. However... Crimson is in favour of it, so as it would be hard for me to give a decision, I will allow it. Well done! You now hold the Speed Record for the Audi R8! 👍

EDIT3 - Leaderboard is undergoing heavy tests, please ignore any anomolies for the time being.
EDIT4 - OK, I've stopped messing around with the leaderboard now. But it will undergo a major reformat in the near future. It will look exactly the same to you guys, but hopefully I'll be less likely to get carpal tunnel syndrome when I have to put a top-end speed in!

downforce 0 at the rear and full in the front or hows that going?
