Same from me Viper, I have three end-of-year exams this Friday (Have I revised yet? Nope. :dopey: ) and then a week's break. The full exam week starts after the half-term break, two weeks from now, but we do have that one day right before the holiday. A bit twisted of the timetablers in my opinion :irked:

But I'll still be around, hopefully :)

good luck btw D.E.!! although i said that it will be a quiet week from my side, i have a new speed with my Speed12. but it's not that good that i'm happy with it, so i'll improve it during the week and post my speed on friday or the weekend.

jip, GT4_Rule is right, you made some real amazing speeds. but real-life has to be on first place!! i have my final exams next week, so maybe a quiet week from my side.......

Setting the 300mph club aside for a moment, ive been doing sdome of the Sorts lap comparos in the ORL section, so im not quiting GT4 all together.

Will someone PLEASEEEEE try the 02 GT racecar, I really think that it can do it, Have I been wrong in the past? Look, I said the toyota 7 was able to do it, and then tornado went and did it. All im saying is trust me, I think I might know if a car can make it or not. Most of the time im right, not 100% right but MOST of the time.

2002 Ford GT Race Car... That's the SpecII model in the white w/black Gran Turismo livery, right? I can give that a go, yeah... Hopefully this week, despite my exams I'll see if I can try it. I'll let you know 👍

Hey guys!

i tried to make my own settings for my cars but i only ended up doing these

my 300zx can only reach around 294.xx
my supra can only get up to 295.xx
my skyline gt-r can only get up to 280.xx

and i cant find any other way to make my cars go faster :banghead: i kinda tuned everything but i dont have any clue on how you guys tune yours so can someone please give me premade settings? for my cars :confused:

all im trying to do is get it to 300 not trying to break the record. so if anyone can help me that would be great!

hey, erm, sorry for my ignorance but i really couldn't be bothered to read 143 pages to find this out, but has anyone here managed to get 300mph with the Pagani Zonda C12S 7.3 '02 ?

I've got 299.63mph which i can't top :( my leader board is the zonda with 9 299.xx speeds, then the gt-one with 317.30 :)

if you did get 300mph in the zonda, please can you share the settings with me!

OK, a tip for the roadcars; Full rear downforce! And make the rear as low as possible, and the front as high as possible.
 
Well I finally shattered my record by 30mph, I got my Toyota 88CV car up to 345mph....so I'm happy...but I'm still trying to get more speed coming off the turn....since im going around 250mph around that turn...at the end of the first straight i'm clocking 270....

Sorry I didn't reply earlier, exams took up a lot of time (studying).

Actually, it did nothing (5/5/5 lsd)....

Hmmm...I think my suspension settings are good, and open has really nice gearing, maybe if we combined them, Rac3rx might go down. The leader could be open and I, and take rac3r off the list for good. Then of course, we could each furtherthe settings to try to gain on each other for first.

I'll ponder this for a bit, I'll be back, but I'm liking the idea of rac3rx gone :)
 
I have exams in about 2~3 weeks. 2 Provincial exams, and 1 Final exam. I'm going into study mode now, so sorry Opendriver, but don't expect any speeds from my black beauties for now :indiff:

Are you NTSC (most likely, since you live near Infineon) and have a Max Drive? Because I'll make a vid for you if you e-mail the replay to me.

Is there a catagory for fastest 3rd gear car? :sly:

In other news, I still haven't hit 300 in the 1000m yet :(

I did that with the 3000GT and it actually reduced my top speed, the "world title for road car" for a day speed a bit. You just have to find the sweet spot between the two.
 
he guys, i think i have the GT-race car you're talking about opendriver......i'll have a go and check it as soon as possible. my speed12-speed has increased but i want more out of it, and i'm trying in my learn-breaks the nardo.

Yes I do have a maxdrive and it is NTSC format so your good to go

DE, I must be the unluckiest in the world. My USB is screwed and my Camera doesnt have battery and it doesnt want to charge.

Ah, the LM version in Gulf colours? OK, not so sure about that one. I've only driven it once, so I can't judge, but I'll try it out :)

Nope, the Chaparral 2D would be the official holder if there was! I've always used all the gears the car has, I think it helps a lot in acceleration low down. But I might be wrong there, never having been above 355mph :p

I'm currently trying to get that pig of a Ford GT to pull 300 first. IU have all three versions of the road car, and they are all stuck at around 298! As is my Saleen S7 with it's fascist unadjustable downforce.

So much for me going back to the Saleen. Oh well, I better get a Ford GT out (anyone of the 5 versions would be nice to break 300 in).
 
Hey guys, any tips on the downforce for a 99 TS020, im getting to 330 Mph and the front takes off, if i increase the front downforce just the slightest i lose at least 10 mph. Any help would be much appreciated.

Ah, I thought you might mention that! :) I hadn't forgotten the oddball gearbox in the 2003 Pescarolo calling for 3-speed-ness, but I said 'official' as you'd need a video to prove you only used 3 of the 6 gears, and it seems like a lot of trouble for a 'extra clause' type record :p :dopey:

the last bits of speed can be achieved with alternate driving lines and changing the timing when you hit the NOS. don't lose your hopw, I was in that situation for a long time.
