Its not an officiallly compatible wheel, i'm sure gt5 only sees it as a regular controller. Might not be compatible but it will still be better than a controller. Have fun with it, I hope it lasts longer than mine did!

You are doing it wrong. I bought one of these wheels for dirt cheap and it isn't THAT bad as I thought it was. After almost a month I found out that the wheel MUST be set each time (at any time) after you turn on the PS3. People and reviewers fail to mention about setting up the wheel. Many don't even know about this then have complaints later. Who the hell reads the manual for this wheel right?

Remember that the red light has to be blinking and stay constantly blinking at all times.

Press up on the D-pad and pull both paddle shifters.

There are multiple versions of that perticular wheel. One version has the old style PS connector AND a usb connector, there is also a version only with a usb connector. If you have the version with that also has the old PS connector, it won't be compatible. The version with only a USB connector is compatible. ;)

He should have been more detailed about his issues so people can help him better. Not just one vague question and let everyone guess what the problem is. I assume the OP was the that little boy in the first youtube link he provided. He did say he has this game with this wheel. Well at least in that video the person is obviously doing it wrong. It is a totally different and better wheel when the high sensitivity is turned on.

You can map the buttons in GT5 and on the wheel itself. You can basically use this wheel in any racer. Hold start+select, press the button you want to assign to the other button or pedal, then press that.
