Thrustmaster PS3 wheel odd problem

The gear paddles have...
Rusted. Yes, there's rust stains on them.
I'm sure it's only cosmetic, but I'm still quite worried, I've only had these for a year.

My T500 pedals, my TH8A, and my T300 whee and it's USB plug have rust signs too.

I don't leave near beach and i can't see a reason to this to happen, only have it for a year too(also, the wheel isn't work properly now).
