One of my friend got hold of the new hot cake thrustmaster T-GT before GT sport launched
Look's great and I'm happy for you.
However that "Turbo" thing is ridiculous. isn't it simply a Power Supply? I would rather have a brick than that monstrous thing
This is not high-end wheel.a high-end piece of equipment.
Well, it’s supposed to be a high-end wheel, as it’s very expensive. And have you tried it out yet? Because if so, I’d love to hear your opinion! This is not high-end wheel.
Quite expensive but above this wheel there is CSW from Fanatec and Direct Drive wheels.Well, it’s supposed to be a high-end wheel, as it’s very expensive.
Sorry,no.And have you tried it out yet? Because if so, I’d love to hear your opinion!
Yeah, it’s weird how it isn’t a Direct Drive wheel. I mean, it definitely looks high quality, and I guess it’s a high quality steering wheel in general (if the price is right), but it doesn’t have Direct Drive?Quite expensive but above this wheel there is CSW from Fanatec and Direct Drive wheels.
Sorry,no.
Hmm. I don't know.
Am I alone in thinking while undoubtedly a decent wheel, it looks rather cheap/plastic?
Yeah, I will agree it looks a little cheap and “plasticy,” but I’m more concerned with how it performs.
Niiiiiice.
1- Did you get to try it out
2- Do you have any experience with other wheels? If so, how does it compare?

Seriously, that thing is really tacky and it ruins the image of that being a high-end piece of equipment.
This is not high-end wheel.
Well, since we can't install a turbo on cars in GT Sport it's nice that we can at least install one on our rigs. Maybe it'll make you go faster in game?
As for the wheel itself, it looks really good and I do think it's a high-end wheel. The price definately suggests it and it has some neat functions and a lot of dials/buttons, some even only for GT Sport. If I had some more money lying around I would definately get it, but unfortunately I don't.

Agreed.
I don't care for the silver trim at the bottom of the rim, and the GT logo is huge.
But as you said all irrelevant as performance is first.
I think they are shipping early in Europe and Japan. No one afaik in the US.Who is shipping these early?
I just watched a video on YouTube of a Japanese player using a T-GT with Project Cars 2 on a PS4 with no problems. Weird.

In terms of torque, speed, cooling, pedals the answer is yes.In terms of smoothness we will have to watch reviews because the TS-PC Racer/TS-XW are not smoother than T300,I take it the T-GT is a major step-up form the T300?
Review of the T-GT by Sim Racing Girl. She didn’t seem very impressed based on the high price of the kit. I have been debating between the T-GT and the CSL Elite and I think I might have to go with the CSL.
For the price of this, you can get a complete Fanatec set up. Wheel, pedals with load cell, and the shifter.
If you have $ 800 dollars in cash, this is also the place to be XD
