Well, since we can't install a turbo on cars in GT Sport it's nice that we can at least install one on our rigs. :P Maybe it'll make you go faster in game? :D

As for the wheel itself, it looks really good and I do think it's a high-end wheel. The price definately suggests it and it has some neat functions and a lot of dials/buttons, some even only for GT Sport. If I had some more money lying around I would definately get it, but unfortunately I don't. ;)

Quite expensive but above this wheel there is CSW from Fanatec and Direct Drive wheels.

Sorry,no.:)
Yeah, it’s weird how it isn’t a Direct Drive wheel. I mean, it definitely looks high quality, and I guess it’s a high quality steering wheel in general (if the price is right), but it doesn’t have Direct Drive? :odd:

Niiiiiice.

1- Did you get to try it out
2- Do you have any experience with other wheels? If so, how does it compare?

1- nope, i was out of town currently so no luck yeah

2- according to him, it probably feels and drive like a TSPC (turbocharged T300rs with more 50% force than T500rs without clipping) but then new feature such as the GT mode and DFB feature probably have to wait till GTS launched only can test it

Look's great and I'm happy for you.

However that "Turbo" thing is ridiculous. isn't it simply a Power Supply? I would rather have a brick than that monstrous thing

Its just a power brick yeah. it probably look daft and toylike

Seriously, that thing is really tacky and it ruins the image of that being a high-end piece of equipment.

it does feels abit plasticy and the wheel not really big. probably same size as the t300rs wheel. but the button and the knob felt really great according to him

This is not high-end wheel.

probabaly not high-end if you compare to fanatec csw v2.5

Well the function of GT mode and DFB is probably reserved for GT sport only.

Hmm. I don't know.
Am I alone in thinking while undoubtedly a decent wheel, it looks rather cheap/plastic?

I would say it look like a t300rs wheel wrap in leather and finishes with knob and plastic casing fit the description.

Agreed.
I don't care for the silver trim at the bottom of the rim, and the GT logo is huge.
But as you said all irrelevant as performance is first.

It probably is the TSPC for playstation.

I take it the T-GT is a major step-up form the T300?

If I was to get a T300 I'd need to upgrade the pedals, which starts nudging you towards the £400 mark. Still another big jump to the £699 T-GT but I feel like holding out on a wheel purchase. Wait for some more T-GT reports and hopefully a modest price drop.

In terms of torque, speed, cooling, pedals the answer is yes.In terms of smoothness we will have to watch reviews because the TS-PC Racer/TS-XW are not smoother than T300,

Review of the T-GT by Sim Racing Girl. She didn’t seem very impressed based on the high price of the kit. I have been debating between the T-GT and the CSL Elite and I think I might have to go with the CSL.

For the price of this, you can get a complete Fanatec set up. Wheel, pedals with load cell, and the shifter.

If you have $ 800 dollars in cash, this is also the place to be XD

Now that is something I wouldn't complain about for $800! I'd turn those effects down a tad though. I'd be uncomfortable with that much brake dive with my TVs attached to it.
