Hi 😊 could some tell me if the Tgt 2 wheel shows up as a TgT 2 in the ps5 calibration wheel and pedal options when playing Gt7 or does it show as TgT as illustrated in the picture top right corner

Thanks

Thanks thought as much, how come you don't have your anymore ? How was it for you.

I think the option menu just identifies it that way and is probably still identifying it as a tgt 2
No probs, I absolutely loved mine but ultimately I upgraded to a DD wheel so went down the Fanatec route (this was before the T598 or Logitec offering) The TGT is an amazing wheel and proper solid and quality, arguably more quality than the DD Pro (it has metal shifters for a start, and the wheel is nicer quality)

Its the same with some of the other wheels like the DD P and CSL identify as the same thing etc

Thanks I've only had it just over 2 weeks, I still haven't used it long enough yet to really know it's potential, as I've just got round to setting it up the way I like my preference.

I'm seriously considering a DD pro for Gt7 as I'm told the force feed back is far superior on the DD pro compared to the tgt2 ?, is there any truth in that however im just in the middle right now of installing a PS5 digital as I've had issues on ffb on a PS4, not sure if it was because the console was old or not. I did watch a review form an honest user who was not doing a business review just a private one, he had both wheels and he found the DD pro better in ffb , which DD did you get,

Honestly the feed back is more buttery and a bit stronger, but hand on heart the TGT and DDP are comparable for lap times.

I shouldn’t have upgraded is my personal opinion. And upgrade is arguable, but I’ve personally improved more with practice than down to hardware, at the sharp sharp sharp and this stuff probably matters but for me as a fairly quick guy that does 95% sports mode I’m not sure it’s ā€œthat much betterā€

As I said the TGT is a much higher quality product around and was up until recently the wheel used for the GTWS.

The adjustability of the Fanatec settings and I assume other dd wheels is vast but honestly I tried using loads of different settings and the reality is I don’t want bone shaking or a dentist every time I ride a curb, I live in the UK I can pop to Tesco for that experience.

loads of torque and feedback sound great and I’m sure in iRacing 10 hour events it’s really immersive but for a a half dozen races on sport mode so having fun with AI it’s not ā€œbetterā€ just more demanding over a longer session

That’s my 2p

Tesco's lol the amount of incident I've have had there is unbelievable, thanks for the reply dude, what pedals did you use with the Tgt 2 and how did you find them,

I had the TLCMs and again so so so nice to use.

Things like the Fanatec CSLs are good but have quirks. The load cell on the TLCMs has a resistance spring which gives a more natural press where as the CSLs (out of the box) have very very little travel which arguably isn’t necessary as it’s based on pressure like weighing scales but it’s not as natural feeling and harder to modulate/learn/build muscle memory.

I haven’t tried the V3s but I think the TLCMs are solid and pleasant to use.

I've been experimenting with the lte race line pedals sold with the t598 and so far after just one day of use my lap times are half a second quicker than when i use the t3pa pedals, I've only just had my first morning of having my feet in a comfortable position with both pedal sets after numerous rig set up changes, having put both pedal sets through there paces the lte pedals wins it for me, I can only improve now, I just did 10 laps on Daytona daily and already im already close to braking into the 1.57 laps with the LTE pedals, I find the springs on the t3pa pedals to soft for me and the LTE hall sensors are more precise than potentiometers, I did find improvements in the t3pa pedals after I replaced the potentiometers a few days ago, but not much, if I could get some decent spring mods for the t3pa pedals they could be a winner, but I think I'll hold up thrustmaster to release a load cell for the LTE race.line pedals as. I believe there coming soon,

I've now been on a ps5 for a few days and as expected.my PS4 was effecting the ffb, I'm now able to catch all most every slide now,

It sounds like you miss your tgt 2
