Yes mate :) I got the wheel for the first Pcars and dint invest in the stand until I played the GT beta. I which I brought it 2 years ago now.

An update : took the chance and logged a ticket with Thrustmaster. I got a reply asking for the invoice, item serial number, and my details. Sent in the information. This morning I got a reply stating that they're sending me replacement springs, no questions asked. I wasn't expecting this at all because after having nightmares with PlayStation support, and any after sales with most brands here is a horrid and convulated affair. So good on Thrustmaster for acknowledging and trying to fix my problem.

Update 2: Anyway I finally received the replacement springs from Thrustmaster yesterday. It's a set of 2 so I have a backup now. Anyway greased it and fitted it back in. Took a few attempts to get the calibration done right but it's now as good as new. Good support by Thrustmaster here.

I remember someone saying either here or somewhere else that TM doesn't provide tracking etc but the rep I was emailing was more than helpful and gave me the tracking number and expected delivery.

I have two gaming sets at work with the t500 RS and the T-GT. At home i have the t300rs. So as for thrustmaster I know the differences.

The T-GT is absolutely amazing. The feeling of the road is perfect. Absolutely worth for GTS.

The t500rs is to stiff, and the steering feedback isn`t that great. Although the pedals are the best of the 3 sets.

The 300rs has better steering then the t500rs, but the pedals are low quality.

My verdict: If you have the resources buy the T-GT. If not buy the t300 with pedals from the t500rs.

Totally agree. My T500RS died early this year after 5 years. I got a T-GT, but retained the T500RS pedals and I've never looked back. The T-GT pedals have never even been out of the box!

Wish I had the chance to test T500 and TGT, but I had a chance to try out the G29 lately and what a gamechanger it is to have a wheel. So I picked up cheap wheel called Venom Pace, a bit toy-ish and not nearly same quality as the G29. But the thing I like with the Venom wheel is that it just turn 270°, 135° each way which seems perfect for me.
So I really hope PD come up with an update in near future that allows you to change steering angle that suits you. For me right now, it's enough realism to just been able to turn the car with wheel, but I'm not looking for the realism of 900°-1080° that most of the higher class wheels offer.

I have a Fanatec CSL wheel and pressure feedback brake pedal set. On the wheel I can adjust the rotation from !080 deg to 70 degrees, but this is a setting built into the wheel, not the GT-S game settings.

I've never heard of the venom, does it have FFB?

I read you like the G29, if and when you decide to upgrade from the venom I highly recommend you try the T150 before buying a G29.

Logitech makes a great wheel, I've had the G25/27 in years past and they are reliable workhorses.

The T150 feels better and will give you a more linear experience due to the belt drive/gear combo vs the G29 gear drive only.

I've been spoiled with Fanatec kit since the CSR release in 2011 but I bought a T150 to toy with last year and quickly realized it's no toy.
The amount of feedback and smoothness of the thing at such a low price point is quite impressive.
As far as driving @ 270° rotation you are a better man than me. I would be crashing into walls and vastly out of control with such a low rotation.

Sorry for my late respond guys.

This fanatec wheel looks really great, and I know this is high quality product. Now when GTS support this wheel, I'm wondering how this adjustment button for the rotation works. Lets say I choose to have 180 deg (90 deg each way) selected on the wheel, so is it right that the game simply should adjust itself to given setting I choose on the wheel?
Hope I'm clear enough for what I'm trying to say :). So if the full steering lock will be set 90 deg each way, and if I turn the wheel little more than 90 deg, the wheel still soft lock at those 90 deg?

I've been playing with pad and its short travelling movement of DS4 thumbsticks for many years, so those 270 degrees became not so low in rotation for me, and I can be very smooth with it. It's just what people are used to, and I believe if I've been playing with some 900 deg wheel for years, then suddenly would switch to 270 deg, I probably would crash for sure.

About the Venom wheel, it don't have ffb, just the vibration as on the DS4.

The Fanatec does not lock at all, you can turn to whatever the Fanatec standard power off mechanical movement is, I think 3/4 of a turn each way. The car just stops turning more after 90 degrees of wheel rotation if you have it set at 180 degrees. I usually have mine set so its slightly less than 90 degrees each direction, about 70-80 degrees works good for me. None of the cars seem to have a real tight turning radius so this seems to work well, most racing speed inputs are between 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock. The biggest difference I noticed with the wheel is how smooth you can be, no notchiness in turns or wiggling to one side of the track on long straights, very easy to aim the car if you will. I can tell right away when I am behind some people using the DS4, but there are others I would guess that use a wheel but they in fact race with the DS4, so it is very possible to be extremely fast on the DS4. Unfortunately my thumbs are not coordinated enough to use the DS4 in a majestic fashion, I have no choice but to race with a wheel. In the month I have had my wheel I hated it at first, I was slow and it was difficult to drive, I thought I made an $800.00 mistake. 2 weeks later I got to about the same speed as the DS4, 1 week after that I am faster on the wheel than the DS4 and I drive with far, far more precision. Until PD fixed the wheel problems that were not broken in the last update I loved my wheel, we now have a host of problems including sound issues, the only sounds I get from the game at all are engine noise and menu music, not even beeps when you make menu selections, fine job PD.

Ok good to hear. I think I could be fine with those 70-80 deg each way of turning. I tried the G29 on my 480hp Supra at Suzuka east, and with some moderate/low FFB setting and 900 deg rotation, I can tell it was a hell of a fight trying to control the car, flicking the wheel around
trying to catch the rear end and not let it spin out.
With the DS4, I'm pretty good drifting with the Supra, and already managed to slide it through the whole track, but of course it all comes
with practice and patience. Maybe I could just get as good with the G29 or other 900 deg wheel as with the DS4, but as said many times before, that's not the realism that I'm after, I'm just looking for a good wheel, with 270 deg rotation or less, and that fanatec
wheel seems to have it all, adjustable and super high quality product.

If I might ask you, how is the weakest setting FFB on this fanatec wheel? Is there absolutely no feedback at all, or just a tiny bit of it?

You have the FFB adjustments on the wheel itself which cover a very wide range of feel then you have the FFB settings in the game which add more effect. When PD released this latest update that kinda screwed the pooch of you will the first I drove the wheel actually got ripped out of my grip, I was able to turn it down to virtually nothing. I checked my wheel, powered down it turns 1 1/2 rotations each direction, I never set it to race like that, I never need to turn more than a 1/4 turn each direction (9-3 on the clock), and the settings allow me to reduce rotation even more than that. The Fanatec is very impressive when you consider that it is only $100 more than the Sony's flagshop Thrustmaster T-GT and that is with those amazing load cell brake pedal set machined entirely out of aluminum. I build race car chassis', those pedals are works of art.
