WEEK 5 RESULTS

We had another great event last Thursday in the 1969 C3 Corvette. The turnout was about average with 7 ½ drivers entering each race. None more successful than Gerry Brault our “Driver of the Week”. Gerry had 4 wins, 6 total podiums with more than 5 places gained in each race. Big G had that 'Vette dialed in, so much so that he overshadowed Jesse's good performance (2 wins and 5 podiums). Jeff and Luke also had decent nights with 3 podiums each.
The top three finishers in the 3T Cup race were Gerry, Jesse and Jeff. Three weeks left and it's going to be tough to catch the the leaders without some real solid results. There hasn't been enough drivers entering multiple events to be too much of a threat.
We continue the season this week in the 1973 BMW CSL 3.0
298 HP – 2551lbs – 580 PP Sports tires

Week 6 Results

Word is getting around and we've grown our club each week of the season.
We had almost 9 drivers per race this week.

The old BMW was a delight to drive. The selected settings were a nice spot of increased power and reduced weight.
Only four drivers stood on the podium this week and both Skippy and Jesse did in every race. They battled it out for the majority of the night with OldBoy cutting in for a first place finish at the Nord to finish the night.

Jesse gets the nod of “Driver of the Week” with his additional win and higher positions gained.
Great job everyone.

The Cup race was at Goodwood with Jesse taking the win and moving into second in the season's premiere competition.
He passes by Luke LaPierre who came in 6th. Cup leader Gerry Brault finished fifth and maintains his lead over the rest of the club. Skippy came in 2nd and jumped in the standing from 11thto fourth.

Next week we've got the DeTomaso twins. You'll have the choice of the Mangusta or the Pantera.
Be on the lookout for the settings.

See you out there.

Damm it. I won't be able to make it this week.

3T Racing 2023 Summer Season
Week 7 Statistics

The DeTomaso Twins were an interesting drive.
There were around 8 drivers in each race, with 6 different pilots taking a podium.
“Driver of the Week” is Claus Schneider stopped by to give us a lesson.
He was 3 for 3 in podiums and had the most places gained.
The 3T Cup was run at Trail Mountain with Skippy taking the win from Jesse Sanderson and Luke LaPierre.
Cup leader Gerry Brault had a tough night and finished sixth.
This allowed Jesse to take an one point lead going into the final week of the season.

We end the 2023 Summer Season next week in the Citroen DS21 Pallas 1970
154 HP – 500PP – Sports Tires – Dirt Tires

We'll do it all over again in about 4-6 weeks.

In the meantime, there will be more vintage racing on Thursdays, more inclusive lobbies around 580pp with sport tires (with a hp limit of around 400hp to neuter the Mustangs ;) ).

It’s out “off season” but that don’t mean no racing on Thursdays.
But because it’s the off season, we can do different stuff.
Like using brand new cars.
So Thursday night, at the usual 8pm in the East, GR Corolla.
Max 334 hp, 580pp, 3186LBS on sport tires.

3T Racing 2023 Summer Season Final Results

"That's all folks, we've wrapped up another eight weeks of 3T racing action. It was a season of transition as a good chunk of our recent drivers decided to spend their time elsewhere. This allowed some new names to enter our ranks and some others to shine a little brighter.
Overall our week to week participation was down from about 10 drivers per race to seven. We did finish the last few weeks closer to 8 a race so the momentum is there.

In the final week of the season, we ran the Citroen DS. This little French legend was surprisingly good to drive and provided some of the closest racing of the season.
Our “Driver of the Week” was Old Boy whom is not an official member of the club, but has driven with us times before.
He had a great night with three wins the best finishing position and most places gained.

The 2023 Summer 3T Cup came down to the last race of the year. Jesse needed just to finish ahead of Gerry to take the crown.
The race was at an unfamiliar Lake Maggiore layout, which gave everyone some problems. Old Boy was the winner followed by Skippy GT in second.
Jesse finished a hard fought battle in 3rd one place a head of Gerry for the Championship.

I've posted the entire season's statistics. Be on the lookout for the Updated “Driver's Card's” with your GT7 career statistics on it.
We are planning to run the Winter season November 2nd to December 28th.
We would take the week of US Thanksgiving off and have another eight weeks to bring us into 2024 and our fourth year of existence.

Look for the schedule and car list coming soon.
