3T Racing 2023 Fall Season

Cup Results

In the closest Cup Championship we've ever had, Gerry Brault (99 points) takes the top step!
With a fourth-place finish in the finale he pulled ahead of Luke LaPierre (92 pts.) who lead going into the final week.
Luke placed 8th allowing Gerry to take the cup.
However, that not where the tight finishes end.
The next FIVE drivers were separated by only 2 points.
Teasy (73) and Skippy (73) tied in third place, Old Boy (72) in 5th and Jeff Derion (71) and Jesse Sanderson (71) tied.
Wow, that's a tight group.
Great job to everyone all season.

I WANT TO ALSO TAKE THIS TIME TO LET THE GROUP KNOW ABOUT SOME CHANGES. I WILL NO LONGER BE KEEPING TRACK OF ALL OF OUR RACES WEEK IN AND WEEK OUT. IT IS TAKING TIME OUT OF MY PERSONAL LIFE THAT I DON'T HAVE AND TO BE HONEST IT HASN'T BEEN AS FUN LATELY. I WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP TRACK OF THE THIRD RACE SO WE CAN CONTINUE THE 3T CUP, BUT THERE WILL NOT BE A "DRIVER OF THE WEEK" POST OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT.

We will take the month of January off and return in February with a new 8-week slate of races. Keep an eye on the page for announcements if cars needed for the events and the schedule as well.

Happy New Year's!

2024 Winter Season Week 1

2003 BMW M3

Cup Race Results

The M3 was set up like a DTM car and it was all we could handle and more. Every driver had to deal with that back end stepping out under power. Jeff Derion take the first win of the season, with Teasy in 2nd and Bernard (BW11) in 3rd.

Next week we're in the DS 3 Racing 2011. Hopefully we can keep that on the track.

Have a great weekend!

Week 2 3T Cup Results

This week had us in a more manageable vehicle the DS Sport.
With a small bump in HP and PP this car was a joy to drive.
The Cup race saw Teasy take P1 with Jesse and Skippy rounding out the podium.
With that win Teasy takes the early overall lead from last week's winner Jeff.

Next week is a classic Pony car battle Camero SS '16 vs. Mustang GT '15

WEEK 3 STANDINGS

We had another good night of racing this week.
The Mustang and Camaro were worthy opponents.
The Mustang seemed to be the more popular choice and may have had the upper hand.
The Cup race was run at Watkins Glenn on the short course.

Jesse took his first cup victory of the season with cup leader Teasy coming in 2nd.
Luke got his first hardware with a third-place finish.

Next week we'll try out the mid-engine McLaren MCP-4 12C '10.

Have a great weekend!

3T Cup Week 4 Standings

Well, this one was kind of a mess.
Technical difficulties all night.
Car burning more fuel than expected.
People being a bit rough around the edges.

Teasy is now firmly on top of the standings by taking his 2nd win with Skippy and Jeff completing the podium.

3T Cup Week 5 Results

The top dogs had a rough night in the Zonda Cup race. It allows the rest of us to dream about a (mathematical) comeback into the fight.
Honda Beat this week.
HP will increase a bit from the stock 66hp to 98.
Weight will be 1675 lbs and pp at 367 on CM Tires.
I should be back to hosting this week.

Winter 2024 Week 6

We had a great time last week in the little Honda Beat.
High or low HP we're having about the same number of drivers each week and the cup results are even tighter.
Bernard got the win this week with cup leader Claus coming in 2nd.
Skippy GT got his third podium in a row to pull even on the season with Jesse at 75 points.
Claus could pull away from the pack with a good result and become the first 3T driver to repeat as Cup champion.

We've got the C1 Corvette this week- 266 HP – 536 PP – 2500 Lbs – Sport tires.

See you on Thursday!

Hi, I’m interested in Thursday night racing and was wondering what’s required to join?
Just that you find the lobby and join using the correct car with correct settings.
And be nice on the track.
And by nice, just good racing etiquette and sportsmanship.

My PSN is Quebeker1. Can't see the lobby? Send me a friend's request.

3T Cup Week 7 Standings:

It's all but over with Claus holding a 25 point lead over Bernard.
Unless Bernard wins the last race and Claus scores no point, Claus will be our first 3T Cup repeat champion.
Claus previously won the Fall 2022 Cup. Bernard is the only one who can catch him.
There are few spots to be gained or lost in the standings for a few drivers this week.

Good luck to all in the season finale.

See you on track.

3T Racing Winter 2024

3T CUP RESULTS

We had a repeat winner! Claus Schneider (aka Teasy) took home this season's biggest trophy. Claus set the record for highest point total with 153. The previous best was 138 by Jacob in the Spring of 2023. Bernard (BW11) finished 2nd with Jesse finishing 3rd. Luke, Gerry and Skippy finished in a super close 4-5-6th.

Here's to another great season. Thanks to all that participated.

-Sando
