My optimal was 35.795 so it's possible but very difficult for me to bring that down, so if people could just stop breaking the world record please thank you!

@Gomario JSP and @Dolph Drago are two of the fastest pad players here. On top of that, one of them do it remotely and the other without heptic feedback

Here I am with a G Pro wheel, a rig and PSVR2 and I had to work like hell to get ahead of them (not all the time!) 🤧

And indeed like @Dolph Drago mentioned we all can't compete with @NAXEHT and we also have a greek dude always in the top 20 or something on pad I believe....

@ScottPuss20 so it's very doable on pad, but took a lot of hours to get familiar with the physics and still takes a lot of time to get good results, 😁😁

Well done mate (even if it's in red) 35.721 is a very serious lap, absolutly no doubt and I'll probably have no chance to score so low on controller.

For what it's worth, besides the "follow the yellow line" tip I'd say that the idea of steering the spaceship of the devil is not actually turning the car, but rather preventing the evil rocket going up to the outer line.

Don't think about turning the devil's chariot, think about stopping the damn rocket going up. It has helped me keeping the car in the yellow line while in the turns and get the right(ish) thumb's input.

I'm sure you can also improve.

I had been a long time Pad user (L2/R2 for Throttle/brake, X and 🔲 buttons for gears and directional buttons for steering) until early this year where I switched to a wheel and I usually land somewhere between low Gold/high Silver in TTs and thought I did relatively okay, how wrong I was 🤣

Keep up the great work - like what @Tidgney proved in his Dino TT video it is all down to the driver, not the controller/input

I'd love to get in the top 1000 at Sard. But I don't know about that yet.

Dude, I'm not trying to be rude, but a top 1000 goal is waaay out there. Being in the 1:07s here after so many laps means you need to focus on the basics of how to get around the track.

I'm at a 1:05.1, that puts me at 1604th place, and it's very hard work to improve from there. Top 1000 is hallowed ground in this one, and there are a lot of amazing drivers that occupy those spots.

Something needs to change for you to improve your times. According to you you're putting in hours and hundreds of laps and not seeing a lot of improvements. Many of us have posted replays and given writeups on how to approach these TTs and I don't see a lot being gained.

The fundamentals of driving means that you need to recognize what is going wrong and change your habits, not to keep doing the same things over and over again expecting different results.

I hope this does not come off as rude, I just see you posting here all the time and would love to see you find some improvements and gain the ability to consistently lap faster.

35:686 at Daytona. I reduced the wheel FFB to 30 (Clubsport DD+) as the damned thing was pulling my arms off! I ache like **** now!

It's going to have to stay at 35:686 too. No more I say. No more.

For now, you can be happy if you manage to gold any Time Trial that comes our way (minus the current one for obvious reasons )

Many laps today whether on Daytona or Sardegna.
No improvements on Daytona with still a time of 35'660. Even when lowering the steering wheel FF, I made more invalid turns than good turns.
For Sardegna, many more laps but no improvement on my time of 1'05'015, despite laps at 1'05'1xx. But I'm not consistent enough, and I manage to have an optimal time of 1'04'831.
So I believe in it, hoping to be able to do it this evening otherwise it's ruined by Thursday !!!!
My friend @Pesselles that still gives you a chance to be under 1'05 before me 🤞🤞🤞

If I could manage my optimal lap from today, it would be exactly #100 as of when I completed my session. I'll likely only continue here until the new TT comes out.
