@Gogga @LSFDRX @GlockPants

If cool, I'm going to add you later. I feel like we're pretty even in terms of speed, same sort of group as @330_D, @Jeje6410 and @crome. Nice to have some good competition with evenly matched folks. :)

And good to see people pushing into the 1.04s at Sardegna. Join me (but don't beat me)
Feel free to add me. @z4e_midnight85. I'm not as quick as the guys you've mentioned above but I like having times to chase!

I have not added you yet, I need an expanded friends list on my board so I can see where we stand in rankings. I'm fixing to send a friend request.

EDIT: nvm, I checked and you are on my friend list.

@half_sourly just out of curiosity, a thought on Sunday morning, and as always with my ideas, they are not so important, so just do it if it takes short moment to you or if you are busy with something else, it's fine not to get answer.
Can you tell numbers per country of all participants, not only us here, but all 300 K + for Movie one RBR , Nismo. I think that's the biggest one, right, bigger than Olympia one? I kinda have feeling that GT7 is not so popular in Scandinavia, I think we only have few Swedes and few Finns here, no Norwegians and no Danish if I am right?
I would do it but I don't see excel file there? You don't need to add it, I am just talking.

You might need to check up on some country codes, but here is the list. Yes, it was the biggest by far. Olympic had 166k, at the time a big jump from the previous high, but since then with more players and popularity, we hit 150k regularly. Movie promotion had 301k.

Hi are any of you willing to let me add you on my friends list? I like to do some licence tests and compare times as well as these time trials.
I’m fairly new to PS5 as had years on XBox.
Off course you can see my ID here.
The only problem is my scoreboard for license, missions and circuit experience are clean as my ass thanks to Polygon not there greatest move in my book wiping personal boards.
At least we can compare Time trails.

Stopped Daytona for a bit - getting dizzy spells!

Having a real hard time with the Dino. I've watched several how-to videos but am still miles away from a reasonable time.
I think I'm losing most on what I call the S bends, straight after the first hairpin.
The teacher drivers all go through at full pelt. I have never managed - if I try I will end up in the wall on the left! So at best I lift, quite a lot, at worst Tap the brakes a little. Obviously my line is all wrong but I try and follow the ghosts, seem to go where they go - and still smack into the wall unless I slow down.

Guess I'm not a Ferrari kind of guy..... 🤣

Same for me. 10+ years on xbox and just a year with a ps5 and 4 months on GT7. Feel free to add me ✌️

I find that part the easiest, just get really close to the barrier on the left and start turning right earlier than you think.

The S bends are definitely a bit tricky because the line you need to navigate them at full speed is quite precise. If you're slightly off and need to turn the wheel too much, you enter spin city, delicate steering inputs required. As @TRCJohn mentions, you also need to turn in earlier than you think. Good luck!

Do they even have a life,
Apparently they are alive, so yes :)
and when do they sleep?
Probably at night, like you and me!

Don't get me wrong Chris, those players are fast for many reasons and there's no point to compare you to them. I don't do it.

Practicing is the best advice to get results on GT7. But nobody needs to practice 24/ to get results. And nobody gets immediat results here. Only (hard) work works.
My current results are much better than few month ago. And because I learn and practice, I should be even faster in few months.
And guess what? I have a personal life, I eat, I sleep, I work (a lot), etc.

GT7 is not only time trials, it's also a large part of "personal work" to get results.
Did you get back recently to the licence section and tried to improve your previous scores? If not, you should.
Had you some circuit experiences in gold? None, just few or most of them? How are your results compared to your leaderboard friends?

If you want to be faster on GT7, start to plan your own "training program" Chris because nobody can do it for you.

I was so close to improve my 2.22% time with Dino this morning, but didn't happen.
Had 6 thousands slower time, 10 thousands slower time and many 0.1 and 0.2s slower...
1:05.324 stays for now, maybe I succeed and improve a little until the end of this nice combo.

Not too bad! :)

I would try to cut aggressively to left as possible to open out the right hander, almost hitting the orange part of the wall, then turn in early for the right as the car will slide onto the correct line.

Also, try to avoid fully lifting or touching the brakes through there as the weight transfer really upsets the car, you can drop to ~70%-80% throttle though as a comfort lift if needed and its fine as long as you're not also doing the change of direction at the same time.

Maby i have missed it in the gazillion pages this thread has over the past days, so sorry for not realy react personal to some laps etc, time is kind of limited on me right now.

But I see good progression for a lot, but I was kind of curious how our newly entered did do?

And welcome to the new people, that leaderboard is going to explode and is going to be the standard for GT7, @half_sourly you are going to be famous then 😁🤣🙏

Anyone that wants to add me feel free to do so...I'll help round out the middle to bottom section of your friends ranking board. :D

Zevious_Z
Same for me.

Added a lot of people earlier until my ps app decided ENOUGH and stopped working 😂 Or maybe is was trying to protect my ego adding all those fast people 🤔

@Pesselles

secret smell GIF

Seriously though, you've got me thinking if I ever received a friend request, or if I initiated all PSN friendships myself 😂
I’ve got a theory that we do not add you on PSN…
