Today after driving a few laps which were consistent & close to my PB of 8:24:877, I took the restart/refresh approach which makes a difference to me as I then don't have to pay attention to the difference marker at the bottom of the screen which is enough to get myself anxious.

I was again able to shed a few tenths to mark a new PB time of 8:24:490. Even though my optimal today was easily in the 8:23s, nailing all the 12 sectors will take patience & positivity.

Love seeing myself amongst fellow users/friends. Am sure each one of us is competitive enough to try lowering the bar.

well, there you go.......

I had my fingers crossed, but an "alien" named NaiF deprived me of my 47th medal.....😂😂
for the moment, I'm 6/1000 short.....

it's no big deal.....but I already know that the next TT at the RBR will be without me.......😂😂😂

After few days of testing and learning the usage of MT in this combo I finally met my target time.

TT-NordschleifeSuzuki-almost2.jpg

More realistically I expected somewhere in the mid to low 26s, but most of this lap was really executed very well (and I managed not to downshift accidentally on the straight :dopey:). So I was a bit surprised to see 25 on the line, but ofcourse very satisfied.

There were ofcourse some mistakes, not every corner was my best or close to it, so there's still some tenths there.
But at the moment I'm here with more than initially expected, so it's great!

I tried to get a better time at RBR with the Supra but my 1:31.548 stands. I managed to get an optimal of 1:31.4xx but simply couldn't find the same pace again to even get close on a real lap to my best time, let alone find another 0.35 seconds to dip into the gold range. Still, a strong silver time, happy with it.

I still have to try to get another session on the Nordschleife to attempt a gold time before I watch a good guide. At Monza I'm still about a second away from gold but I'm gonna watch a guide before making another attempt.

As far as the upcoming TT goes, I repeat my prediction:

it's gonna be Spa, it has to be. But what category? Gr3 would be logical as it's the largest GT3 race - but as much as PD is out of touch with their player base, I don't think they want to subject us to that. What else then? I could see them look at the list of brand that won the Spa 24h and BMW is the clear leader there. If it's a BMW, I can see the following options: M6 GT3 (won twice but it's a Gr3, so maybe not), CSL, E30 M3 (both E9 and E30 won multiple times) or the E36 M3 (I know the E36s that won were Supertouring - 5 years straight at that - which sadly aren't in GT7 but close enough). Another good option would be the 1964 winner, the Rote Sau.
I most definitely can't see the future, hence I'm not playing on the stock market, so there's basically 100% chance that PD throws us a curveball and we get some crazy **** like Spa but in a Unimog (maybe Nordschleife in the Unimog) or some really boring Gr3 action. Oh, just remembered that Mercedes-themed extra menu book, Spa and the Rote Sau would fit into that theme. I hope it's not the Peugeot 2008 though, or the BX (I get it, let's get some PSA, khm Stellantis cars but why not a 106 S16 or Rallye if we get a small *******), not particularly fond of either of them. Some rally action with the Delta could be, too but I'd rather have Spa and one of those old BMWs or the Rote Sau.

Won't one of the three cars coming with the update today be used in the new TT? Hope the Lancia or the Citroen car but not the SUV. Don't remember when we got a dirt rally as a TT last time!

If that's the case we have one happy @Barareklam 😂 😂 ( who is annoyingly fast at the ring btw.. )
But then we would probl. get thrown at Catalunya short track or something, i would like dirt one to be honest, although i would totally suck at it 😂😂, but i also wouldn't be surprised if they grab the 812 at Grand Valley or something.... but all pure guesses ofcours,

Hope it's a good one!

I guess that @330_D can tell you without being online as he turns to someone else then... 👽 😂

The RBR wasn't fun but because you were busy at the Ring I was hoping to get in front of you one single time - but I failed. My final stint yesterday got me quickly near my personal best but not that needed tenths below... Let's see what's in the kitchen today.

There will be a delay in the results as Sony have made some changes on their website which affect scraping data. @crome is working away at it but with me being away from tomorrow morning for the weekend, there is a chance the results won't be out to Monday.
Don't worry about us and the results. It's not a problem if you don't publish them for several days. With the work you do and that it requires, you are forgiven 🤣🤣

BTW the same changes are also responsible for the statistics plug-in not working anymore, for those that use it. Will be working on fixing both.

Also sorry for the radio silence from me these last few weeks. It's just a very busy time for me with lots of absences from home, combined with a few less than inspiring TT events in the past, as others have mentioned. I do very much enjoy the Nürburgring one. It's also the first time I don't feel completely lost on that track. Currently sitting at 8:23.854, and there should be at least another second for me, just not sure if I can find the time.

I tried a few laps of the Grand Valley TT & maybe it'll be just me who's feeling underwhelmed for some reason. I'll be going back to Nurburgring in a while as the risk Vs. reward is more satisfying. I know I can lower my PB much there + Nurburgring is like a perfect track to drive for sheer fun so will spend some more days here. It's very much worth it.
