After this and Fuji, I will see bollards in my dreams. And they will boop me.Welp the Hyundai VGT is easier to drive that I remembered, but those track limits🤨🤨
I thought that was supposed to slow you down.I was a little disappointed when my time was knocked back to 5th when I woke up, but then I realised the 3 Spaniards ahead of me all used ASM, 🤢. Danny will always hide his replay If he hits the lead but he probably has it on too, high chance anyway.
Sorry, but this sounds petty.I was a little disappointed when my time was knocked back to 5th when I woke up, but then I realised the 3 Spaniards ahead of me all used ASM, 🤢. Danny will always hide his replay If he hits the lead but he probably has it on too, high chance anyway.
I think that’s not what was being implied, more recognising that even the fastest guys in the world (one of which is a world tour finalist) benefit more at the very very very sharp end of speed and control than the rest of us.Sorry, but this sounds petty.
Why is it relevant at the fastest levels (or any level, for that matter) what "allowable" assists a person used when looking at their time? Your 5th, which is great. Why try and taint the times of those above you.
There there is no other reason to bring up the assists other than to imply that at a "pure" level, their time is not as legit as yours.
I agree that when people usually discuss assists it is not in a a judgemental way. For example, your discussion is just that - non-judgemental. I just found the statement I commented on rather odd. Sort of "I was disappointed that they passed me until I saw they had assists." If that does not imply that he/she does not see the times as really valid, I am not sure what does.I think that’s not what was being implied, more recognising that even the fastest guys in the world (one of which is a world tour finalist) benefit more at the very very very sharp end of speed and control than the rest of us.
99% of us could switch on all the aids and a large majority wouldn’t get close to the top times.
As with all things there is a discussion to be had on wether there should be a filter for the leaderboard for a whole bunch of things, like wheel users, VR users, assist users etc
Specifically to CSA and ASM these assists actively control the car beyond the base aids of TC and BB the latter 2 come down to feel and fidelity with how they operate the former 2 are systems which actively brake and add steering input.
There is no judgement from me on who uses what, I can only drive my car with my stuff and my level of skill.
It’s very interesting that in the last round of the GTWS (or the one before?) CSA was not allowed to be used and disabled.
I’d be personally annoyed if on ability alone I could go the fastest in the world and then my fellow peers are able to beat me using arbitrary in game Blackbox assists. But that’s because I’m human and competitive.I agree that when people usually discuss assists it is not in a a judgemental way. For example, your discussion is just that - non-judgemental. Annnnnnnnd you were right. It didn't hold, had to go out again and run a 55.2, that outta do it.I’m not as convinced as tidg I’d definitely aim for a low 1.55
There are some absolute demons in these sort of combos
In VR the bollards aren’t that much of a thing after a few laps, it’s the weird acceleration points, I just don’t have the confidence to nail it (smoothly)Managed to hit 1:52 in the hoover today so that's probably it for this one. Don't mind the car, just can't handle any more bollards.
The boy has a 1:53.2 so not far behind. Having a single gear has levelled things.
Wonder if he will beat me at GT7 or GT8..?

I hate the noise most of all.Annnnnnnnd you were right. It didn't hold, had to go out again and run a 55.2, that outta do it.
Those saying they dont like the car, other than the lack of steering feel, what is it you dislike?
