Morning folks,

had a short time to spare on a tt this morning, trial mountain was a bit mehh for me so i'm leaving that one as "gold and run" 😂
so back to the dessert then, wich is....aside from the conanigans quite a fun drive on the pad.

Managed to have a slightly better lap so got into the .6xx ...
No idea of any OPT''s due to restarting each lap for the start shenanigans.....and because i'm gentle with my little cone .... she's still standing! 😁😂
I know if i can cut that there is easy time but my goal here....... Top 100 with my little cone! 😂

Alfa Gr.4 at Trial Mountain.
Was stuck at 2:02.6xx for some time now. Wanted something better so gave it another go. Came down to 2:02.333
Optimal this stint was .320 so close enough lol...
Had an optimal in another stint of 02.0xx so I really thought I could get that 2:01 but it remained elusive...

Silvia at Willow...
Had a decent time, but saw the percentage drop to +2,58% or something like that.
So I thought, give it another go just to be sure since I will be unable to play the coming week...
After a 15 lap stint with 13 cancelled laps, and no improvements I gave up.
My time will stay and hopefully be safe for gold.

holl01 as always is leading the pack. Apart from his skill, I believe his racing setup (physical & not just game settings) would be done well as that's crucial to get a good feel to enjoy the TTs week after week.

For a moment I got too excited thinking it's the 20km circuit again but then I saw it was GP format. Thank goodness for RM tyres which are my favorite variant of tyres in the game.

The results for TT155 at Trial Mountain Circuit in the Alfa Romeo 4C Gr.4 are over here. I have updated the opening post with the index of all TTs and the second post with the community scoreboards. A reminder that each driver's results for every TT is in the Excel file attached to the latest results post.

Here are some interim statistics for TT156 at Willow Springs International Raceway: Streets of Willow Springs in the Nissan Silvia Q's (S13) '88.

Good afternoon racers. Hope all is well

I've been distracted with other games of the shooty shooty variety recently, and to be honest, the last few TTs have been a bit underwhelming for me, or in the case of the Z-Tune, really annoying. Managed Gold in all but didn't have much desire to grind out better times. The new Nurb one looks cool, and I've yet to give the Silvia a go. Although I learnt it has some exploits, and is on Willow Springs, so I'll try for Gold and no more.

Drove a few laps in A/T just to get the feel of the car. It's a good TT with the biggest fun factor of the car on RM tyres. Set a modest time of 2:06:918 which is a Silver time but about 5 seconds off the fastest time. I set this time before @Tidgney had posted his (awesome)lap guide as always to help with brake & gear references.

I'm always thinking how does it work with a swivel chair. Doesn't it move right and left around as soon as you get on the pedals?
On the early days of Rfactor for PC (like 20 years ago) I used to play with a Logitech MOMO clamped on a desk with a swivel chair.
The chair displacement was easily solved with a shaggy rug.

Obviously, that kind of "setup" wouldnt work with the load cell options that we have nowadays

i don't mean the rolling around but the turning in circles. i can't believe that you don't feel this forces and have to work against them.

Know exactly what you mean, I have 2 bricks between my wall and my wheel stand pro so my load cell doesn’t move the whole rig forwards 🤣

CSA strong, abs weak, ASM on. The kerbs are frustrating here. I have quiet figured out how to hit the S flat out yet. Still a bunch of time for leaders to find as I can gain in some areas.

Oh and just like that I'm over a second behind again before evening hitting 'post.'
