Thanks. It was also with no cones moved - I'm just way too inconsistent to use that method. I had another go yesterday and often I'd only get past corner one maybe one in ten restarts, mostly because I misjudge the start loop and don't get the optimal start-line speed (in which case no point in going on, as it won't be a 17.7xx no matter what, and I need that for a best time), or I misjudge the brake release point for turn one and go too wide or too narrow.

I suspect that, despite a theoretical optimum of a low 1:25.2xx, I've reached my practical peak. It has been a great TT though; just what I needed to put some time in again.

Oppose that to the latest one, with one of my least favourite corners and a car that keeps beeping at me... I did five laps to just post a safe gold time and won't be back.
Yes, very fun one but frustrating indeed if you are slightly off somewhere, my most difficult part is the righthander, I think T3.....
9 out of 10 times I'm sliding to much what compromises the upcomming S'es big time.
Luckly last sector was strong this morning.
I think I could get to a low 5 or high 4 if everything would stick but dont know if that's gonna happen 🤣

Same feeling about the RX7, I had a lot of trouble getting in a descent lap so don't think I'll return either, ....that means I have some free time 😁😁🤣🤣

Today drove just above 200kms trying to improve my PB which I finally did with a (safe gold) 2:04:201 lap. I find the CSA to weak more comforting than strong. The first sector even though has slow turns but I feel it's very crucial to get a good lap time. This is the sector where the car's nervousness shines brighter than the sun.

Hats off to all those who are in the top 500 because this car even though on RM tyres acts drunk which is why many are resorting to assists including myself.

Another test in Nurburgring GP :
Improve my time at 2'03'905 but I could have done a little better if I hadn't made a mistake coming out of the last chicane and lost control of the rear end...pffff...
CSA at strong and ABS at weak

Of course i knew you would be faster than me but i hoped for one or two more days in front of my never-to-reach-reference-guy.

@ScottPuss20 you are next, i expect you to beat my time in no time.

Nice lap Jérôme!

You can def win some speed by shortshifting the thing , i personally aim for half the bar, but by the looks of it you can even shift shorter than that ( just watched Tidgney's his lap ) , makes it even a bit less nerveous ....a bit.... a tiny bit 🤣🙏🙏

Thanks a lot my dear Jomar
I see that your vacation in France did you good because you came back to us in great shape with the times you had.
Bravo my dear Jomar 👏👏💪

My friday session was just a waste of time. I got frustrated with the track limits and ended up driving way to aggressive. Improved my time by some thousandths, but nothing worth mentioning.

Yesterday i returned and found myself kicked out of gold by 0,004s! So i put on the racing gloves ...

To be honest, i don't know how i did this! All i changed was to follow Tidgneys advice of using higher gears at some corner exits. Maybe i also became more used to the car.
My optimal was a 2:03,60x, but this should last for gold, so i won't come back.

Vette yes but at Ste Croix because we already did Laguna Seca this year a few weeks ago. And we haven't done Ste Croix yet this year.
Last year at Ste Croix it was with a VGT (Genesis X) so...
Would suite the car more to be honest with it's gazillion horsepower 😂 😁😁

Morning folks. It‘s been a while ;) just arrived back home yesterday after a two week vacation and eager to fight for leaderboard ranks again.

I tried Willow Springs late last night even though my wife called me crazy for jumping back into the cockpit after just having spent 700+ km on the Autobahn 🤣

I must say I was a bit tired, but still managed ok for the first attempt I think.

I agree with the sentiment that this is an A tier event that could be S tier if it weren‘t for the cone shenanigans. Anyway I am sure I will return for an attempt at top 100 as soon as my girls stop occupying the PS5 … it‘s about time school starts again ;)

Happy lapping.

Grandpa returned to Germany last night... to secure the silver medal....

I was 2 seconds behind and, to my surprise, now I'm 4/10ths behind... actually 5 or 6, because there are 10 days left and, by then, the aliens will be back from holiday and...😅

I'm going to try for gold, but once again without really believing in it...🤔

I don't know why, I just can't do it on this circuit... with Willows, these are the only two where I didn't get gold in the Hamilton challenge on GTSport..... 🤔🤔😅

But since last night I had an optimal time of 4.932, which is almost gold, it might be worth a try...

The only good thing about this would be St. Croixe as I love the track & its all 6 variations.
Yes, me too... one of my favourite circuits for testing my cars... version B

and to get to know the place well, it's simply magnificent... and it's also a victim of its own success: there are far too many people, too many tourists, but I understand them, the region is so beautiful, there's so much to see and the weather is guaranteed to be good...😅

Good to have you back again, not good for my leaderboard if you keep hammering this way... 😂
