Followed some guides then give it a try!!! Not bad a for a first few laps on Dragon Trail!! Love the R8, it's weighty but fun to drive!

I provide a service to my employer, in Gran Turismo I like winning, lol.
I have to thank you too for giving us your advice and all your replays. Thank you alien-mate....

I wasn't able to get gold in the Nürburgring TT, I was too slow by a second or so. Usually using the controller sticks and auto transmission, I changed to manual and studied your replay and used it as a ghost. And after some days I was was able to get gold by nearly half a second.
I appeciate this a lot. Thanks.

The same for @Tidgney

This time trial was really easy compared to the previous handful. I guess this car and track combination works well for me. The 4 wheel drive system on the R8 is ridiculous and you can get away with a lot before the customary understeer kicks in. You get a bunch of feedback from the front tyres as they slide around underneath you, giving you an immense amount of confidence to just send it through the many technical corners. It's a special breed.

Murnings!

The sunday "before family breakfast making" laps are always nice, no pressure for work, only pressure from the leaderboard 🤣

Didn't take long before I did hit a .475 and had my first .6 on S1.
Few laps later I lost the toutch of the chicane a bit but fastest lap wasn't al that shabbbyy

And this time the last turn in 2nd gear 🤣

Nice drive, very forgiving, a little lift fixes all

Hope this sticks for a top 100 again, gonna be close I think 🤣

Ghost lap added in the video as usual lately
Metal at 0.4 with reset

Later!

Today again took on this majestic TT. Thankfully, was able to lower my PB to 1:44:944 with my optimum being 1:44:577.

The invalidated laps that You see here are the laps where I tried driving with L2/R2 buttons for accelerating & braking. I gave up after a few laps.

Sector 1 is where I'm losing a lot of time. Especially T1 (long left hander) & T3 (start of the chicane). I'm unable to nail these 2 turns & T3 really sucks my blood into frustration. I again saw Tidney's lap guide & noticed he's not accelerating through T3 which I'm doing by mistake & suffering so much. Once I can nail these 2 turns, I feel I can get into the low 1:44s. Will keep trying.

I wonder what your secret is, I know you have the wheel and fancy setup. But you have other special abilities too for gt7, or basically any racing game. Your replays always storms each TT with style and fury!

Keep up the outstanding work.

Get really strong in the arms mate, that's the only way I pull off these laps at 40+ years old.

I can lift 35kg from the floor up to my shoulder with one arm, for 10 reps. Then it's about the analytics side of things that you have to nail, no sense in just hitting braking markers and apex's, there's a lot more finesse involved in how you turn into the apex while under brakes.

Cheers Chris for the comment!

Damn dude you run that torque seriously seriously high, my shoulders are screwed (car accidents) so my 45 year old runs the DDP at about 75%!

did not have time this week for GT7 so today 1h on first 40 min back on NurbGP 2t of 😃 solid gold

Then the new Audi TT pff don't like those ice tires hope its good enough for gold again no GT until next weekend have fun fellas btw nice fast times above you guys are/must using differend fuel 😅

Took me a while to get under 2:03
This has been a tricky one. The car is a bit volatile but fun to drive. HOWEVER... that last chicane.... I wish Gran turismo had more "real life" track limits. In that way, we wouldn't have to force these extreme cutting shenanigans.

In all seriousness, I wanted to ask some of the pros here how you go about that chicane? Do you focus on the end bollard? Do you even look at the entry chicane at all?

I feel like I have at least 2 or even 3 tenths in that corner alone.

The entrance of the corner is the critical part so I'm normally trying to cut more of the first part so I can straighten the second part and that means then less weight transfer. But in this car with the suspension setup it can be a bit of luck with how the weight transfers sometimes.

I was realy surprised by this new TT. As i saw PD's tire choice i feared the worst, but despite that, the Audi is quite nice to drive. And that engine is a dream!

That endless right hander in S3 was also surprisingly easy to drive, but that chicane in S1, that bloody chicane ... 😭

Whatever i did, i just coudn't carry any speed thru this nightmare. And pushing harder usualy ended in massive understeer at the exit and a red lap time.
What helped me in the end was watching @Metalgear9493 lap (thanks for sharing mate! :gtpflag:). Going down to 2nd gear before the right hander helped to position the car better for the exit of the chicane. I'm still loosing a lot of time to the ghost, but a least i've reached a time i'm satisfied with.
