Well @crome I went in...... as stupid as I am, first laps I'm FAR from gold, and to be honest.... I'm not even sure it is doable for me on the controller....so definitely no danger from me, I'm going to have a real struggle for gold, I think I loose a second alone in the third sector, it just won't rotate

It's a long time ago that I was not sure of reaching gold..... time will tell, 🤣🤣

Not the 708 i did with the invalid final corner, but i'll take it. 🙂😂😂

Sector 1 was nice, but still a bit off my personal best. But sector 1 is the hardest part, so i'm happy with that.
In Sector 2 i lost a bit more, mainly due to a poor hairpin.
Sector 3 was close to beeing perfect.

Now fingers crossed for my first GranTurismo lap time challenge podium since 2014. 🤪
 
The results for TT157 at Nürburgring GP in the RE Amemiya FD3S RX-7 are over here. I have updated the opening post with the index of all TTs and the second post with the community scoreboards. A reminder that each driver's results for every TT is in the Excel file attached to the latest results post.

I ran an interim position on the Laguna Seca TT (as if it was TT158 - can't run a proper interim with accurate comparisons until any previous ones are final). I thought it might be worse than 7th most difficult to date. Still a very tough one by most measures.

Also it’s immensely difficult I personally think. Outside of the challenging surfaces ones or the GT WS tie ins, it’s really really really hard.

I know your data factors it but the spread in the top 3% is super wide.

Personally (anecdotally) I didn’t enjoy it one bit, slightly off tangent but I’m sure driving it bumper cam it’s awesome and fun but in VR it’s not (for me) and I question the actual purpose of these types of cars. Fast yes, Handle well, yes? Have a purpose outside rocking up to hotels? No.

Nope, challenging yes but the vette thing on Laguna is one of the hardest I’ve ever driven.

Typically tidg can get early times in all cams but even this one that wasn’t viable.

Fast cars are fine, you dial in to them. It make take time but the muscle memory comes. This one for me was very hard to hit a rhythm or flow. It’s just not a very fun car, it has no redeeming features other than being a “new” 2000hp car that will never see the light of day.

At least using @half_sourly 's method it isn't. It factors in more than just gold rate, which was indeed lower for the Nurb event than the current one (at least for now), but the bronze rate for example was way higher.

I guess there is no single objective way to calculate difficulty. But that's what the raw data is for ;)

This thread presents the results of GT7 Time Trials (Lap Time Challenges), along with community scoreboards. I used to post the results every week in the main thread set up by @seadog777, but as interest and participation have grown, so has the desire for people to look back at previous results.

This opening post contains an index of all TTs (and a separate one for regional TTs) with a link to the relevant post, followed by a table with summary results of each TT to date.
