Morning Folks

I am gutted. Had a good flow going with the Stratos last night, I was definitely going to get into the .2xx but then my Dd Pro started acting up. It just randomly looses ffb and starts spinning like crazy. I've re seated the quick release, but no luck.

Gr2 and Gr1 are actually quite fun at Bathurst. It would be difficult to keep up with the fast ones, though.
I'm not a real star at Gr1, Gr2 is a little better but i still s*ck at it, GR3 and GR4 are a better for me
the faster it gets, the worse i seem to be, blame the age... 43, it's all downhill for me, then again, Bathurts is partial downhill to.... the resemblance.... who knows...

I'm sure you'll be quick with the Gr4 Pony as usual ;)

The results for TT164 at Eiger Nordwand Reverse in the Lancia Stratos '73 are over here. I have updated the opening post with the index of all TTs and the second post with the community scoreboards. A reminder that each driver's results for every TT is in the Excel file attached to the latest results post.

Here are some statistics for TT165 at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo.

TImes have changed and the current V8 supercars are closer to GT3 cars (more power, less downforce) but for many many years, it was an "improved production" race which is really the spirit of Group 4/GT4 racing. So this is a fine choice of what made Bathurst, Bathurst, if a little too much downforce and not quite enough power TBH. The right hander after the cutting was never flat so there's a touch too much grip. Look forward to it, a naturally aspirated 5 litre V8 is what Bathurst is all about.

Not surprised the %age of gold is so low on the Opel, that was a tough one.

yeah I'm at 3.1% at Road Atlanta. Initially, I was enjoying the event...but that's changed lol. I hate the boost mechanic. It's a pita. I'm hoping I can squeak into gold but man I've been stuck now for a few days.

I was too, stuck on 1.08.4 for like 40 laps but I braked a touch earlier and hit the gas earlier at turn 3 and there was my missing 3 tenths. If you don't see a 24.7 sector 1, don't bother using the battery and go again.

yeah I usually set a decent ghost lap and then if I'm not ahead of that ghost by the boost point I don't hit the boost. But it's still really annoying to have to play that game - I generally don't like following ghosts anyway as I find it really distracting so I rely on the delta but you need extra laps to see meaningful deltas. I don't see why the boost can't just reset every lap. I absolutely hate the right hander just before the long straight too! I can't EVER get the line right there!

I stopped using ghosts as they just distract me, the timing is enough for me. If you don't see at least 24.8 sector 1, I cannot see how you get gold, would take an epic sector 2 and 3. I mean at our level, aliens can do it but we wouldn't be having this discussion if we were aliens.
