And I was just showing that you can pseudo manage the gearing in AT I just happened to do it because I wanted to see if I could do a gold time using AT.
oh sorry I did not get that, but I fail to see how you can choose in which gear you exit turns when the gearbox is AT.

It’s the amount of braking and coasting, you can also use the throttle to keep the revs just high enough to stay in a higher gear.

Conversely if you want a lower gear you can lift and brake slightly with then minor lifting to manage the revs below the shift point.

I never used the triggers when I was a controller player but I assume it’s the same as pedals in the fidelity.

New test in Deep Forest :
Improve my time at 1'48'729 with optimal time at 1'48'6xx

Definitely need to try, and lower that time, before the aliens push me out of gold.

that's funny, that is exaclty the time that @crome's plugin is showing for me, while I've never had this time on this TT, I was at 1:50.313 yesterday and am at 1:49.684 today.

Not sure how it happens.

Ooh this is weird. Are you sure though that you didn't set the 1:50.168 time in the same stint, just shortly before your 1:49.684? Because that would totally explain it. The plug-in would have just collected data in the middle of your session, and the next run is only two hours later.

First round of the new TT went pritty well.

This car is fun enough and slow enough for my CPU being able to process what happens.

Question:
since couple of TT I gave myself a chore to inspect the car setup to figure out the proper gear shift timing, instead of moneky-copying tidge.
And.... no way I was able to do it here, I cannot pop up the picture with CV,torque trend against revs
Assuming it's not just me, what's the process to determine it without the picture?

Ah I did not know your tool could collect data while I am driving !

Indeed my lap 3 was 1:50.168

Never happened to me before to see a different time in your plugin than the best lap from previous session or from last one.

Although I look at the percentage vs the top driver and it's about my level now
Indeed. I think this is going to be like a Gr.4 TT, where 1% off the top lands you 500th rather than 50th.

I was quite surprised at how loose the rear end is. Full cheat mode (CSA, not ASM) on, as I couldn't be bothered spending the time to tame it.

Yeah, it's just periodically pulling data from GT7's servers. Every 10 minutes for the top 2,000 or so, and every two hours for all the rest to save bandwidth. And since GT7's servers are updated instantly with each new fastest lap you set and not just at the end of a session, this can totally happen.
