The idea of this thread is to put down or get ideas for time trials.
What you can do is put down your idea for a time trial and see if peple think
it sounds fun or not. Now if you have an idea but don't know how you sould put
it down, I can help as I have done some time trials my self.
As with my newest one, appie17 had a idea and I helped to get it going.
If you think you have a good idea just PM me with your idea or put it here.
If you want to look at mine to get a idea how I do mine thats good too.

Well I hope this helps peple who have ideas, but don't know what to do with them:).
 
How about a 2 lap time trial and you start the first lap from a standing start and add your two laps up at the end to get your total time, laps must be done consecutively.

Sounds cool:tup:, now you just need to think up a set of rules for what cars to use.
 
or we could do something like

US vs Japan or maybe Japan vs Europe just like in Gran TUrismo 2. I always loved those races:)

That sounds cool:tup:, maybe we could run stock or modified cars with the some Power to weight ratio:idea:.

Im not sure about this idea for a time trial, but I think it would make a great race series though 👍

I have never done a race series:(, but I am driving in some right now.
It does sound fun, maybe I will have to think about this:idea:. If we did
start one what tracks would we run? How many laps would we run? How many
race's would we run? Post your ideas:).
 
maybe we could run like 6 races per season

Like

2 World Circuits(Tsubuka, Suzuka east or west)
2 Street Circuits(Monaco, Costa Di amalfi)
2 Original Circuits(Apricot Hill Raceway, Midfield)

If it were US vs Japan then the tracks to race on could be just the US and Japan tracks or for US vs UK maybe the tracks could be just the US ones and since the UK dont have tracks the UKs tracks could be the Original tracks or something. Im really liking the idea of a US vs UK series, I think that would be awsome.

EDIT: Oh yeah and 6 races sounds good to me 👍

Ok here is what we have so far.

6 races per season:tup:
US vs. UK:tup:
2 World Circuits,2 Street Circuits,2 Original Circuits:tup:
UK tracks could be Original Circuits:tup:

Now what rules for the cars? The power to weight ratio I said or something else?
 
At least should be a minimum of 1000kg

and drive in GT mode

- Fully mods except for no engine tuning(no turbo or NA and no Exhaust mods)
- Use supercars:)
 
No wings or weight reduction either.

Jaguar XJ220 is a supercar. It comes in both road and race guise. (I think) :)
 
don't forget the TVR Cerbera Speed 12. Very fast, but handles terribly. :indiff:
 
Yeah:dunce:, I just thought of those two car today when I was on GT4.
 
and what kind of supercars should we use at the side of the US:)

I think that a US vs EU might be better because using just cars from the UK
would be sad:(. Plus going EU means more cars and tracks to pick from:tup:.
And could someone see how many laps it takes to get 30 miles on these tracks.
When you get to 30 miles, count the lap your on. So if your on lap 7,
then the race would be 7 laps long.

Right now my PS2 will not pick up my GT4 disk:ouch:, so I can't do any testing:(.
