oh boy oh boy I'm sooooooo EXCITED and HAPPY!!!! Finally broke the 8:05 barrier, that was my goal at my current skill set, it took me some 20 attempts maybe, but FINALLY!!!! I did it!!! Oh yeaaaahhhhh! hehehehehe it's so rewarding! I'll be recording dozens of replays of this one! 8:03 baby!!!!! :D :D :D
Try Prairano's tune for the Porsche 911 (966) '01 at 600 pp.

First attempt got me a 8.02. And I'm really rubbish ...

Point is ... never knew a RR Porsche could run so well on Sports Mediums.

Hit 175 mph on last straight.

That guy has weird magic in him.

I improved my time massively, but not gonna disclose just yet by how much, as the video will land on the 16th of September. So much I can tell though: I almost squeezed into the top 3.

Whoa. Was this because of 1.20, or did you already have time in your pocket?

Had a quick re visit to this last night, since I got used to the course a lot better now. Cut my previous best by 7 seconds. Crashed on 2nd and went to bed..Still way off my 8 minute target....8:21

I have to revisit this sometime... made so many improvements since last time I tried it ;)
Going for it myself this week, no coins to be earned, just my imaginary 'under 8 minutes badge'...hopefully.
Do like the sound of this car, just did 2 laps to get into the swing of things, back to it after the funeral.

I was a bit bored from studying so I had the genius idea to give this combo another go. I know the physics changed so I was quite curious to see if I could beat my previous time. After 3 laps I managed to hit a 7:36,653. Compared to last time, I‘m using an H-shifter and clutch though

Way to go man! You're amongst the fastest guys I know on the Nordschleife, so this time acts as a very good reference point.

I just watched the 2nd race of the ADAC 24h qualifiers this morning, and it pumped me up for a few laps on the 'schleife - Now I might just try the nsx later...🧐 -Thanks for keeping this alive!

I finally came back to this, after a long hiatus playing exclusively with a PS Portal device, I went back to the console and regular pad controller, oh my... I improved so much! My first attempt I was able to get 8:01 time (my previous best after dozens of tries was 8:03), and the next day I was able to go under 8 min at 7:57!!! I just couldn't believe it, it was incredible for me, and that includes going off track into the rails once ahahahaha

Anyone else experienced skills improvement after playing a lot on the PSP? It somehow changed my playing style, probably forced me to anticipate more my moves because of the lag... really interesting stuff!

Posted a couple of videos of my 7:57 run:

Hi everyone, finally bought a fresh non-wide bodied '02 NSX so I went for a lap.
I ended up in the high 41" but my lap was very messy so it's quite a surprise to be there on my very first attempt.
Are we sure there hasn't been any change in the physics/grip levels recently?

I'm pretty sure there have been many such changes to the game physics since I last tried this months ago. But even so, I still think my huge improvement derives from changes to my driving style, or should I say, my more proactive driving with better anticipation of the control inputs when I see the road ahead... this seems to be related to the use of the Portal remote device to play GT, having to adapt to the inherent lag of the gameplay with the Portal.
