@half_sourly can you answer a quick Q for me please? If we miss out a TT, does that affect our "Average place" ranking?

I was also wondering if it would be possible to add an "average GTP rank", "average percentile" and/or "average gap to #1"? That might be overcomplicating things, but those might be interesting metrics to add.

I've had a look through and I'm DEFINITELY stronger in road cars and Gr.3 cars than high downforce machines...

Many thanks again for this amazing data collection!!

No. A no-show is not treated as a zero (as in the number nil) outcome, so your average is not affected.

Average gtp rank is already there - it is the column after the medal count and is the number on which the table is ranked.

I could include average percentile and average gap to #1; it will take a bit of work but doable.

Someone suggested a split by road and race cars in addition to the standard boards, so I will do that at some point. I suspect many of us will show better results in one that the other.

Okay, thanks for your quick answers!

Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but isn't the column after the medal count the percentile for that round?

I was referring to the community leaderboard in this post.

EDIT - and in case someone reads this a bit later, I am making chances to that board as we speak, so it might not be that column exactly, but the average gtp placing will still be there and marked as such.

On second thought, adding average percentile and avg. gap to #1 would take too much time, both initially and ongoing, so I hope it is okay if I ditch those. Top TT placing and average TT placing are fine as I calculate those automatically anyway.

Yep, not a problem! Was just an idea - I've no idea how much work it takes to implement all these metrics.

This is cool! However, assuming I'm reading the table correctly, I think there may be something off with the Top TT Placing column. For instance, my best overall ranking has been #92 while it shows 120. Though I do have a feeling @Gomario JSP would approve of his current placing in that column!
