hi im new here, does anyone have some tips on improving my time trial time for suzuka in the ferrari f2007? I got it down to 1.30.602 (pro physics) but can;t improve more, please :-)

i did a 1.28.569,tried many times but cudnt improve further, did u try it with mt or at?try with mt if u havnt

do a lot of time trial in susuka east until you master the esses. I have improoved at least 3 seconds just from that section of the track.

WOOOW... you're an ACE.. you're about to be 2nd on the ranking with that time.. i thought you said 1'29.7** a few hours ago on the chat :odd:

With your mind power, your determination, your instinct, and the experience as well, you can fly very high. Here's the real advice:

Make sure that you have your foot on the throttle in the slow stuff always or the back slips a little and you lose alot of time.

Turn off TC, it holds back the power in the slow stuff, and feather out of the corner instead.

In The S curves, go as fast as possible, use as much rumble strip as you possible can on exit. And try not to brake at all, but lift off instead.

Use Manual Transmission for as much control of the power as you can.

ok thanks guys , I am in mt but will try your advice and I'll do the east course first do get my esses right. thanks again. my big problem though is the hairpin , i lose loads of time there, any suggestions? thanx

for the hair pin-before approaching it be on right as much as u can, dont brake and steer at the same time, when you approach the hair pin,turn-in,brake and exit and if you are using manual transmission then do not select the suggested gear but stay one gear up,try going around in 2nd gear

ok thanks i'll give it a try. i did the east course and i think my esses are right now(my time is 0.36.076) so it's not too bad. I think if i get the hairpin right my time will improve alot. thanks guys.

hi, sorry to bother you guys so much but I was wondering whether the hairpin is faster in 1st gear or 2nd gear, because I saw the guy with the best lap took it in 1st gear. and also the degner curve(corner just before the bridge) is it better in 3rd or 2nd gear? thanks alot , i already improved my time a little. thanks again

I take it in 2nd but I'm no expert and if the fastest lap uses 1st, I'd go with that, degner I probably use 2nd. Just so you don't get an infraction, try not to double post, use the edit button instead to edit your last post 👍

True but if someones a lot quicker than you, there may well be a reason for that, it would be churlish to completely ignore it 💡

The trick with the F1 car is that everything happens so fast that you have to be reacting to the next corner before it is even visible. I guess the biggest thing is carrying as much speed as possible (using up all the road, braking less, turning less, and lifting off less). I find the hardest corner is the first one. Its really hard to time when to brake. The hair pin is also tough. The you can also loose a lot of speed in the S turns.

i think when i was lapping suzuka in the f1 car two days ago i found that the best way to do the s-turns is to stay in 3rd around 70-85mph all the way to the end of the turns.

Thats absolute bull, i bet you cant even do sub 1'30.

Not the best way to approach (ex)members

If you look under his name you'll see he is a banned member.

I, however, got the 'lovely' pleasure to talk to him in the chat. Apparently his PS3 isnt connected on the internet right now that why his time is not on the board...
