👍You are talking about the point system ''pros'' in their dumb speed 12's and buick specials. These guys don't know **** about drifting

They know enough to be at the top of the tables all the time
Honestly the only thing that they know is how to abuse the system and achieve the most points in drift mode, besides that a little a bit of tuning knowledge and that's about it.
haha abuse the system... i dont abuse the system and can make it to the top 50 its not called abusing its called practicing and doing it over and over again until you get it right.

A lot of the tires(that are on the car when u buy it)) on GT5 are wrong. Some cars are equipped with more grip than they are supposed to have while other have less than their factory equivalent.
A example is the FC3S RX-7 it comes with Comfort softs when you buy it but the tires it should have are comfort mediums.
The D1GP drivers all use a high performance street radials the equivalent to that in GT5 is Sports Soft tires. This is not a opinion it is a fact.
Here is where i go to find what tires are supposed to be on the car

hey Nismo34 , most of the time i use my vantage '99 but i'm working on a mustang but i change my car almost every week so its not always the same. a friend of my gave me a cerbera speed 12 today but havent really got the chance to use/tune that one only did one try but still ended up the 33 position @ tokyo route.
The ironic thing about those selection of cars is that there wheel base is slightly longer compared to other cars.
yup thats right:tup:, but that doesnt necessarily meen its a good drifter. take the callaway c12 has maybe an even longer wheel base than the speed 12 but still its hard to drift.

About the Callaway C12 as a drifting car, i guess the biggest issue runs around the weight balance (65-35, i guess), the huge torque, great weight and... size. Even with all these profile pointed for ocasional overspins, mine understers a lot sometimes. If Axis distance base would be a problem, any car like this would strugle, even a Chaser.
Longer wheelbase in drift mode = more angle = more points
See the flaw within drift mode now and why it's abused by Speed 12?
haha yes but knew that already, but your are right. the only reason i use those longs wheel base cars is to get points aldo somethimes i use them in drift battles but most of the time ill use the svt mustang doesnt have a that big wheel base but drifts awsome atleast for me it does everybody has an other style![]()
oh btw those cars are also used in drift battles because of the high hp even in the 5/6th gear and those are the gears that give the most amount of points.
v13esimThis got off topic...
Anyways what would these tires be considered
Falken azenis rt 615 (I believe a sports tire for sure)
Falken ziex ze 912
It's pretty simple mate, comfort tyres are road tyres, comfort hards are just standard base model tyres eg; Yokohama A Drive, medium are a step up eg; Yokohama S Drive and softs are a more performance tyre eg; Yokohama Advan Neova AD08.
The sports tyres are just semi-slicks such as the Advan AO48 which are available in differing compounds.
