Tire wear and Fuel consumption in Arcade Mode

You could be waiting for sometime - thorfynn was last seen Jan 21st! ;)

A good sugestion though. A form of endurance racing would become a possability with these additions.
 
Ahem. Sorry for my late response to change the title... ;-) now o have changed it.
So are there any news about tire wearing an fuel consumtion ?
Here is the reason for my wish.
11 gyus and me: We have every November a big event: A 24 hours race. And where ? LeMans of course. So for this we have 4 Cockpits, 4 big TV-Screens and four PS3, of course. This makes 4 Teams with 3 drivers in every cockpit. 2 hours race, then the next driver.... And because there is this absolut silly 200lap-limit in the online-lobby (by the way, no human being on this planet could garantee you, that the online-connection will hold for 24 hours i think), there is only one way to drive a 24 hours race on LeMans. And thats in the Arcade-mode. But such a race does not make any sense without fule consumption and tire wear.
So it would be a really big present, if PD could bring this ferature back to GT6, because the physics has really improved since GT5

This, along with all of the cars in the game and the criteria I set for arcade mode quick-tuning for arcade-only cars (see my signature below) is the real deal for GT6's arcade mode overhaul.
 
Arcade mode needs the option to enable fuel/tire wear, as well as the option to enable mechanical damage, penalties, and standing starts. All those options were available in GT5 in arcade and custom one-make races, it makes no sense to remove those things in GT6. It makes even less sense to have those options + option to set race length by time in online races but not in offline races.
Also, PD needs to include the option to have a full grid in arcade races, it sucks having only 10 cars on the grid. Having the option to choose the car for each AI opponent would be good too so that I can race against a balanced grid.

Lan multiplayer would be the best option for you and your friends, unfortunately lan isn't available in GT6.
 
You're right FS7, LAN would be tge best solution. but thats another miss.... sometimes i don't understand the philosophy of PD. Yamauchi-San is a ravedriver by himself - but why is so much race-stuff missing in thd game ???? Hmm, let's pray and hope for the next patch... ;-)

still having to go back to GT5 to get my offline enduro fix - why PD? Particularly now you've given us one of the greatest endurance tracks in the form of Mt Panorama. Making it online only isn't going to force us online...
