Okay, I understand increasing the width would lower the revolutions per minute, but increase speed. That being said, according to 1.03, even if I pick +2 inch wheels, they'll perform like stock? I was just reading what the update brought and this confused me.

Only wheel diameter can be changed in GT6, that's what +1 and +2 mean... they are 1 inch and 2 inches larger *diameter* than the stock wheels. Tire width cannot be changed.

Thanks. Everything of mine as of right now will have the biggest tires possible!

Overall tire size cannot be changed in GT6. Wheel diameter can be changed in GT6 which only affects the looks. In real life, a larger wheel with same overall tire diameter means the tire has a shorter sidewall and provides sharper handling response, which is how it looks in the game. But the performance difference is not there, it's just for looks.

Do not change the wheels there is a major problem. Read the above thread. If you change the wheels the rear width of the tires will change to match the skinnier front tires. Keep the original wheels. If you have changed simply replace with the originals.

This issue was supposedly resolved with the latest update.

Oh yeah, I meant diameter, don't know why I messed that up...

Anyway, Midget looks funny with the bigger wheels.

I think big rims look stupid and gangstery
They kind of do. I just like putting them on ridiculously small cars, or "Pimp" cars, to make them look funny, or like something The Godfather (Wrestler, not the guy from the movies).

Nobody asked you.

Nobody asked him, but everyone is still entitled to their own opinions.

His opinion wasn't relevant. (Whether he liked big wheels or not)

Irrelevant, I agree, but he still didn't post anything awful, just that he didn't like big wheels. "Nobody asked you" could have been replaced with, for instance, "Let's keep the thread on topic."

Speaking of which...

Does anyone think PD will make the diameters (Didn't screw it up this time!) do anything to affect performance again?
