The physics are completely different to TRD2, its not floaty, you wont get air on Bathurst:)

Plus Bathurst has been completely remodelled.

Not sure if Laguna was remodelled.

At the moment there is a lot of confusion as to what tracks are actually included in the game, let me tell you whats happening regarding this:

The tracks that started this are Indy GP and Sepang, one site says they are in, one list says not, other lists say yes, no one from codemasters has confirmed this (one of the codies guys posts on the forum aanswering questions and concerns) another track causing concern it Istanbul Park, again the list on the forum posted by the codies guy says its in, yet the RD3 site says otherwise yet a further list says yes.. Apparently the different sites for each version (DTMRD3, V8RD3 and TRD£) have different lists, istanbul is shown on the DTM, Sepang is shown on others.

EDIT: Just read on the site, the codies guy has popper up and said the list on the forum is the defintive list and that the lists on the sites are wrong due to poor communication on codies side..

I just saw an advet for this on UKTV (It's sponsoring all the motoring shows).

It looked amazing  Can't wait till I have enough cash for it :indiff:

No brazilian tracks, no french tracks, no canadian tracks, no spanish tracks..

Lots of major tracks have been left out, Catalunya, Magny Cours, Nelson Piquet, Interlagos, Estoril, Dijon....Oh well cant have everything.

Hey sweet they have Pukekohe raceway! I've driven that circuit, it was really cool.
It looks like a bit of a boring circuit on TV but to drive it is to love it.....

Just pre-ordered it along with a new memory card because my other 3 are full.

the heck is one of those?
A amazing device that could have saved you buying countless memory cards...

http://www.play.com/play247.asp?pa=srmr&page=title&r=PS2&title=167036

Allows you to transfer data from your memory card to your PC. Basically turns your HDD into a huge memory card. Also allows you to download PES option files that have all the teams and kits edited (I'm waiting for the January transfer update :D).

Note, FatAssBr and Ultrabeat are haters. Ignore them :sly:

Yeah basically it's a USB flash drive specially for PS2. You can download game saves off the internet and stuff, then put them on your memory card usnig the max drive. Obviously the PS2 can't save directly to the max drive so it comes with two disks for transferring files between them. Another benefit is that it gives you a lot of room to store game saves when you want to keep them for another time!

Edit: Damn, too late :D

By the way ExigeExcel, they don't make the pesfan option files anymore if that's what you mean?

El Gigante

Yeah but there are still a number of independant versions being made. Right now I'm waiting for 'dwevans' to complete his V3 option file as his V2 file was very highly regarded.

Greyout
that is AWESOME

toca > GT for sure :)

mm im not too sure about that one from what ive seen there might be 100 tracks but they aernt very different and all i saw were just race cars no normal day to day cars which i dont like and gt offers alot from both worlds even though it does have a story its still gonna be linear start from nothing work your way up seen it b4 like a gazillion times so it brings some new stuff to the table i dont think its for me but hey thats just me.

Its a motorsports game, they do have a couple of road cars (nismo fairlady, impreza 22b etc) and yeah it has a world tour mode (story) but it also has the pro career mode where you choose a racing discipline (open wheel, off road, touring cars, gt, oval racing, honda, bedford autodrome, classic) and you progress trhgouh the championships in each one, say in open wheelers, you would start in Karts and go through to F1 driving for Williams F1..

The road cars are still track prepared, so they arn't stock road cars.
