ABS balance of 2-1 or 1-0 works best.

Furi can you release the specs? I wanna try them round Autumn Ring or Nurb GP/D.
 
No ABS will crush the DS3 users like moi if I had the chance to race in TOCA this year.
 
ABS will be more difficult, but I havent tired it yet so I will state my opinion after some testing :)

Plus were allowed turbos yeah? Just no LSD or Wings and Semi racing exhausts?
 
5 teams is maximum, One make per team. So there can't be two Ford teams for example. Also considering capping Indy entries as well at a maximum of two per make.
 
Just did a bit of running in the Ford

1.16.1xx - 1:14.920 - 14.924

Default settings. That car is good 👍

It was online too, joined a random room and the settings were the same

No ABS iz teh brootalz. :D


But 2-1/1-0 is very low. Are you running a DS3 or wheel? As with these cars I'd run about 4-2. :odd:
 
I dont really like running with no ABS - it locks up way too soon and Im using 40% of the brakes

If you're using a DS3 then it'll be hard to brake that effectively without ABS, although using the triggers/right stick to brake/accelerate helps. :indiff:




And Andy- the faster you're going the more brake you can use, at corners where you come into the corner quite slowly you shouldn't need more than about 40% brake. 👍

And I was doing it round top gear but I if I went over like 60% the wheels would just lock up, so you have to be very careful and makes it harder to race closer I would of thought

I have L2 and R2 set to gear down / up. And it will take some getting used to...
 
Like I said, dibs on the G35.

You should be able to get a bit more to start with. Try braking hard to begin with then easing up.

I never use ABS but then I have a wheel which makes it a whole lot easier. :)

I have a wheel too, and have raced without ABS before (Formula GT) but GT5 locks up the brakes way too soon I find, just makes it very hard

Ive gone quicker than Furi in the Ford by over a seconds so I must be doing my braking or something right :lol:

Ah right didn't know that. But yes the brakes in GT5 are overly sensitive but what can you do. :)

I use R1 and R2 for up/down shifts, L2 for braking. Makes ABS=OFF driving easier when I have time/space/noise level to setup the wheel.
 
Main TOCA 4.2 artwork complete, working on the other banners now. Tech specs may take some time to do. But currently ahead of schedule and looking like a start in 5 weeks time, after the shortened WSM finishes 👍
