Im guessing its a limit of 2 guys per car, and only 2 cars have 3 guys? That makes 16

Example

Ford x2
Mini x2
Inf x2
Mazda x2
Honda x2
Volvo x3
VW x3

And as for how teams work, as an example:

Ford Team (x2)
Volvo Team (x2)
Mini Team (x2)
Honda Team (x2)
VW Team (x2)

Thats 10 cars.


2 of each allowed for independents, so max of two indy Ford's, Infiniti's, etc.
 
Ok but youve missed Mazda and Infiniti for the list above

So theres only allowed to be 1 team of fords or Minis etc?

Err no....

The teams can be from any manufacturer. Say for example I pick Mazda, that means no more Mazda teams are allowed. So a full grid (16 + 4 reserves) could be:

Mazda Team X2
Infiniti Team X2
Volvo Team X2
Honda Team X2
Ford Team X2

Mazda Independent 1
Mazda Independent 2
Mini Independent
Honda Independent 1
Honda Independent 1
Ford Independent 1
Ford Independent 2
Infiniti Independent 1
VW Independent 1
Vw Independent 2

So if I want to run the Mazda, I would be an Independent and not part of the Manufacturer which your in charge?
