I got S1 on Friday, Unit 1 Physics tomorrow.

C1 today was pretty tough compared to the past papers. I got a banker 79 from last year to rely upon though.

I got 8 more to go...

Oh yeah, GCSEs are important and there is no point prioritising gaming over studies if you are academically orientated and motivated. This is why I hope everyone joins my Nascar Thunder Series to get rid of post-exam stress :D

i had C1 and M1 retakes today. that question 9 on C1, the lines and the rectangle thingy. it was a 🤬.

i started off with biology, physics, maths and further maths (we got forced to do critical thinking). now im down to 3 with some good persuasion , i made them think i was to dumb to keep doing 4 :p. one tip for A levels is do something you enjoy. i hated biology and it showed. also, if you get stuck on something , find out why and fast. you move through topics so fast it is vital you catch up and sort your problems with it.

Like tsukuba really, i couldn't do the last corner so i tried new lines to help me. (on topic ish :p_

Yeah Biology is bit like me understanding setups of my TOCA cars. I revise extremely hard and practice lots of past papers but when it comes to the real thing, I choke and throw it away.

I got 18squareroot5 for that quadrilateral. I'm not looking up unofficial markschemes as it will crush my mathematical ability.

Further Maths is a bit like me and a Megane from S3. I was simply not good enough and could never take it on. I was extremely unreliable.

i was predicted C's this year and i have exceeded in all the ones i now do. i understand mechanics, but as soon as we start to learn about proof by mathmatical induction using matrices :nervous:. that gets me....
 
I feel like I am odd. Everyone I know seems to be doing maths and science. I am not.

Critical thinking? You'd never get that in the Irish Leaving Cert, but then again this country has been blindly following the Church until about 15 years ago. :indiff:

it sucks. i find it tedious and pointless, don't know how anyone else finds it. i just get into an argument with the psychology teacher most lessons. she say's im lazy, i dont agree, so i respond with: those that can do, and those that can't teach. only lasted a whole lesson 3 times this whole year :ouch:

In TY at the moment which is the same year as 6th form except we don't do anything.:D Had Sports day today, Senior Soccer runner-ups, Matty was goalie, I got 4 goals. :)

And I have college 9 to 5 tomorrow, then only 1 lesson next tuesday for 100min, and then until next thursday :D

EDIT: Will get pts up tomorrow. Any early times for SSR5?

I'm finished on Thursday...and then the Leaving Cert approaches. :scared: The course I wanna do only needs 355 points though.

Nope, in Ireland you get points for each subject you do in the Leaving.

If you get an A1 you get 100 points, 600 is the most you can get and hardly anyone gets that, 550 is usually what the smartest of students get.

I'm aiming for 500, NUI Maynooth gives you a €1,000 bonus if you get that much. :D 450 is more realistic though.
 
Tables would be up tomorrow but as I'm away at a gig of my cousin's, they won't be up till Saturday afternoon. Should be quicker next week when Furi knows what he's doing from the get go.
