My best time with ABS is a 1.20.4, but I have about 4/10ths to gain in the middle sector...

Was 4/10ths up before crashing. :grumpy:

I'm so confused. :confused:

You put 1'26.6 originally which I thought odd, then you edited it to 1'21.6 and now 1'20.6. :lol:

I can confirm my best time is a 1.20.6 👍
 
Im rather demotivated to test now as for me the biggest pull of joining Toca was the excitment of trying ABS off without it being a disadvantage now thats its back on im not so sure.

There shouldn't be any disadvantage, other than you can't dive into corners. :odd:

EDIT: Unless you aren't used to it of course. :)
 
There is a massive disadvantage ABS on vs off for one a small tap can make you lock up easy with ABS off. If you get tagged its almost impossible to save it especialy when near a braking zone like what happened to me in race 3. (Put sideways into a braking zone and I couldnt stop and slid into Akmuq)

I suppose.

I've never had a problem with it, though. :indiff:
 
For the most part I took to no ABS well, I was even making easy moves on the brakes on people to pass into T1 yet still getting a nice drive off the corner. Also ABS on is much faster round a lap as has been shown clearly by Nel who was only getting high 21s low 22s last night now is getting 20s....

I disagree. For me, there is no speed disadvantage. In fact I've improved many of my times since I stopped using it. :)


Neljack, as far as I know, hasn't used no ABS much and uses a DS3.

I just wanna say, I love racing without ABS, I just don't think about half the grid can cope with it, stupid that they signed up, but we can't get them to leave* so we got to put up with ABS on.

*Or maybe we could, if we go round to each one of there houses with a paddle.:D

I didnt see any major locking up yesterday - I just think its the nature of that circuit, sometimes braking over bumps or small corners and braking but ABS is back so will cut the excuse of I locked up and hit 2nd place guy of into the gravel so they could grab 2nd ;) No link to Plato there.............
