Agreed with the sports Softs tyres, but the weight is hard to do as some don't go down any further than they did last season.

Also, if we have a fast RWD in this season, then it will only help that thing dominate if tyre wear is on.

But Furi is too scared of sports softs :sly:

I'm not a fan of sports soft tires but can work

They should all weigh to round up to each ten. So make vw 1290kg, bmw 1500 etc just means no one can cheat with weight and stuff

If the rwd are pinned down more to make them slightly slower (0.3) but tyre wear better - should work

Just a theory, gotta test it but would make rwd seem to have an advantage
 
I don't think SS tyres is something Furi will implement any time soon.

But, the weight rounding is something we do in my series' then check all the cars when they go to track.

I think that tyre wear off is better for close racing as well.

Yeah you shouldn't use ss for 300Bhp cars - racing hards are best

I agree with you If you do weight checks for each car it will eliminate any theories of cheating etc

I think tyre wear with racing hards means no pits every 25 ish minutes, but got to watch how aggressive you're on the tires - just like the btcc

RH Tyres were confirmed a while back. The weight checking system Dax uses will hopefully be implemented in one way. Also all cars should be 295hp this season.

And yes Carbon Bonnet + New front aero + ??? + ???

Also i'm thinking ahead and in future allowing older cars in as independents cars, so teams have the current crop of machinery and the older cars get a 1 year extension as independent cars, a little like what happened with the Integra in BTCC.

I got a sneaky feeling that TOCA 5 might be all worldwide official tracks. Furi hinted he'd like to do a calendar with all worldwide tracks in a future series, a while ago in S4 hype I think.

Nordschleife may appear again...

And I can confirm High Speed Ring and Cape Ring South's removal from the TOCA5 calendar.
 
I know activity is pretty low... but as people show more interest i'll get stuff done quicker. Things are progressing ahead of expected time. Two more cars are about to be signed off, and at least one should be revealed by saturday ;) :) Stay tuned!
 
I might sign up for this season. :D

I'll be keeping an eye on the thread for now.
