With PSN possibly down until May 31st... how about we skip to the Norschleife and make them 3 double point races? Or just regular races?

Regular races at the 'Ring would work for me.

Yup, regular races are fine

Yet another idea:

We call the championship quits, but afterwards we still hold the Nordschleife as a non-championship event, a fun race really.

And how about the Ring opening season 2? That would be interesting. I personally favour closing it, and setting up a bigger and better Season 2. This has been a great pilot season, and I reckon with a bit of tweaking to the rules, we will have the best tin-top racing in GTP...

What you think?

I like the idea of a bigger season.

I also would like that the cars were more even in their performace in season 1 were a lot of differences.

Maybe we can include in the calendar 2 or 3 tracks from the track editor (that can be made available to everyone 1 or 2 weeks before the race) in that way people have more challenge in setting up the car.

I already have car regs nearly sorted for a Season 2... and an ideal calendar sorted as well... with a bit of a shake-up...

Can you share it?

I would like to see it

I'm easy, and like DC I'd be interested in seeing the plans for seaon 2 👍

I dont know what MrMulsanne has done so far, but I would like to use premium cars, I know is more difficult to make them even.

I was more thinking of a "If it ain't broke don't think it situation... just a few rules tweaks and a little bit of performance balancing... this document has been giving me a couple pointers... official rules of the Asian Touring car Series

http://www.afos.com/2011atcs/2011 ATCS Regulation (Ver 1) 1st published.pdf

Section 3 has...

Also, how many races should season 3 have? 8 meetings? 10?

Ok... Well I can tell you as of now I am working on the Season 2 Official logo... So i Can declare Season 1 closed...

Congratulations to driftking for winning the pilot season! I'll sort out a prize car soon as I get my bob's back from online...

I think for the season 2 the altezza should be scrapped as it was too fast. Also, I like the idea of starting with the Nordschleife and if we could do it with change weather/time. Could we go to Grand Valley East?

Well done driftking!👍

A pointer - All Season 2 tracks are real world... So either real-life tracks or Cities...

On second thoughts I prefer that but we can go to places like Suzuka too but the change weather track though.

Suzuka is a little too long... but the east layout... I like that idea...

I'd like to use the Nissan Silvia S15 Race Mod, seeing as the Integra is in.

I am thinking of keeping most of the cars of Season 1. Those cars were pretty well balanced, but these cars are close-spec. Any new entries would have to be tested... (And I have no money...)

It's not particulary long but it does provide good racing. Fun to drive, fairly wide, easy to make a mistake and good overtaking.

Ok, I like real tracks.

Are you going to divide them by continents? For example, first Europe then Asia and closing in America?

1. Nurburgring 24H
2. Cote d'Azur
3. Monza
4. Madrid
5. Nurburgring GP
6. Tsukuba
7. Tokio R426
8. Suzuka
9. Laguna Seca
10. Indianapolis Road Course

Bang on with that idea... and an 8 race schedule is planned... 10 tracks vying for it at the moment...

I am also looking at the cars that are on the Asia Specs that you send, in gt5 are a lot of the, but of course a lot of testing has to be done in order to have close spec cars.

And we can remove the american tracks.

Well the weight interests me. The cars for this season will remain mostly unchanged... But I'm not telling all yet. I'll publish with a season 2 topic the full rules...

By the way... Rome or Monaco (cote'Azur)??

I like those DCerzina

I think Monaco is a more technical circuit than Rome, and I like it more

Monaco is similar to macau.. and it's a famous track.

I have seen videos of Macau and it is very challenging

PD should get this in the game...

It is almost impossible to overtake in this track, pretty narrow

2:34 is pretty common.

So i think Cote D Azur should go in... it's very similar to macau.
