IRT are currently in negotiations with two drivers to be part of the B-Team. A test will commence tomorrow.

I did a short testing before I watched "The Godfather- the Coppola Restoration".

I'm in the mid 19's now at Cape South and I also did a Tire Wear test and I only tell you my 14th lap-time:
1:20.412
So my setup feels nice and I don't get murdered from Tire Wear 👍

True, what Rear wheel drives lose over a lap they should gain later on as FWD tyres drop off.

If I test offline, the times could be compared?

Could someone answer me?

Furi, could you please update the entry list? Just so we could confirm who's running what...

Also, if there's any Mazda team out there who might be available to work with a B-team, please let me know...

they are comparable now, so yes

Yay, going to test offline soon to get some lap references.

Chqr should be in a BMW actually.

3 Audi's (3 remain)
6 BMW's (FULL)
1 Honda (5 remain)
6 Infiniti's (FULL)
5 Mazda's (1 remains)
2 Mini's (4 remain)
2 Suzuki (4 remain)
1 Volkswagen (5 remains)

So we are now Mazdas.

Woo.

Offline is still a bit faster due to no connection issues (minor drops of the strenght etc) at least for me (or I can't put my sectors together online xD)

Polar and I will run with following colourscheme:
Hot Choclate Brown Body and coloured Rims (I use a bright Orange don't know Polar's choice)

It's not just that, the online physics are different and more basic to reduce lag etc.

So talking about times, the difference is some tenths, like 3 tenths of difference between an offline and an online lap?

It's not a clear cut thing.

Certain tyres/cars react completely differently between each physics settings.

a 2 tenth difference between online and offline in one car may be 2 seconds in another.

Yeratel84 is now apart of VenoMMotorsports.

/Best news ever

B-team, Furi...

Oh. Forgive me, spending 12 and a half hours away from home in trains and cars and a lotta walking is sending my brain crazy :dopey:

I slapped a tune on it and it handled fine :boggled:

Maybe your tune is good? I don't know. Give me decent tune and it can do low 19s, probably high 18s on a great lap. But cars like the Infiniti and Mazda will be able to do those times with less effort and more consistently. :indiff:

^I'd test online. Offline is similar now but not identical, the lack of rolling shows that. 👍

It's funny. Two days ago, the Mazda seems to have been the best kept secret for S7, and suddenly the six spots are almost taken.

It's going to be a very competitive season though from the looks of it. If one car has an advantage on one particular track or one is having problems with tyre wear, there will be a whole bunch of cars that can take advantage of that. I think we will have more fluctuation in race results this season for sure.

Agreed 👍

Certainly going to be a very tough season.

I can't seem to even break 1:22... I feel slow.

Invicta B-Team Plans Announced for TOCA7
Following a test today at the Nurburgring GP/D, IRT have announced that Geoff Hooper (Scanny_Flick) will drive for them under the "Invicta Junior Racing" banner in the Audi TT for next season. Team Owner, Tom Brooks released a statement earlier today.

"Myself and Rob observed Geoff at a pre-arranged test earlier today, we orignally invited another driver but he failed to get back to us. Geoff was immediately on the pace, setting faster and faster lap-times every time he crossed the line and his consistency was second-to-none. I'm relishing the challenge of racing alongside him for TOCA7 and he will be a worthy attribute to the IRT squad."

Nice recruiting there young Tom.;)

A good signing Tom 👍

Tom
I've got to admit, he's bloody quick!

Never seen him race myself. God this field is varied and close together!

Furi can see how good you are before you even get in the car.

Oh wait he means better than him like everyone else is. :p

Enjoy S7 people.

We'll enjoy it

And whilst no-one bothers to recognise it, I was 2nd last season.... best non-alien...
