Despite an eventful round, I managed to only lose points (2) to Mikey... so all in all, this has to go down as a good weekend for me...

Also after checking the replay for the final 2 laps in R2, with the pace I gained when the track dried enough for Inters, I gained almost 2 seconds to ther leading duo, so if the race had one more lap, I might had had a chance to fight for the win...

And I just remembered that Kiwi also lost points in S3, probably not as much as he gained on that particular week though.
 
Monza just seems to be a hoodoo track for me, in spite of it being the site of my last TOCA victory...:indiff:

Next weeks quali race will be interesting with Smuffy, Akmuq, DK, Sakary and me who are all former race winners going for only 5 spots
 
I think it was S4.2, in the Jordan Honda named "Haruko".
 


Independents a 3 way fight.
 
I guess I'm only hanging on in the Indy fight because there were only 4 competing this weekend. :lol:

Glad to be the VW winner 👍 Good race there Akmuq! I thought I'd stick behind you and pull out a gap from the others before mounting an attack. Squeeze you at the end, maybe a bit harshly but didn't do it maliciously. Just really wanted that too 12 position and more importantly the win 👍
 
Wait, if Jamsy is DQ'd, shouldn't I have been moved up 1 place in R1?

Is that me in 9th! Wow :boggled: I really didn't expect that :) 👍

Race 1 was defo the best for me getting a lightning start and taking the lead from the wet start and being able to pull out a nice lead :D. I nearly lost it all though on lap 8 at the parabolica braking too late and ending spinning to the grass :dunce: but got there in the end :)

Race 2 was 8th untill last lap at the line i went from 8th to 4th very quickly and unexpectedly :sly:

Race 3 interesting but got tangeled in T1 incidennt (wrong place, wrong time :ouch:) then spent too much time trying to fight for positions and lost a lot of time and ended 9th :(

Still the best nights racing I have had on GT and very happy with the result :D
And for a short while after race 1 I had a 100% TOCA win record :lol:

No worries, the only way to stop someone getting past is by doing something like that, wish they had the F1 start/finish instead, in line with pit entry, to stop the annoying drafting by on the line.
 
I had a couple of wrong place/wrong time incidents too, in R2 (rear-ended GKM, waited it out in the gravel to let him past) and in R3 (clashed doors at the 1st Lesmo on lap 4). :(

On that note what would you be expecting the average lap time and pole time to be at GVE?

I am still in a little bit of disbelief as to how well I scored although I was soon put back in my place when the rain stopped :lol:
