From the MotorTrend interview:

Are you headed to this weekend's Tokyo Auto Salon?

Yes, my team and I will be there. We're planning to have one of the biggest GT5 displays we've ever built. There will be more manufacturer agreements announced there as well. It'll be a great show for us.

All aboard the hype train!

The Tokyo Auto Salon opens this Friday. January 15, 2010.

Hoping for a "Guys we're sorry for the release date thing":lol::lol:. It's their home territory, and they're at they "Media Blowout" stage...anything can happen.

So what manufacturers will be announced?

Obviously not Porsche.

Lada
Dacia
Daewoo
Samsung

Haha! There some other exciting prospects out there.

In all seriousness, an announced manufacturer agreement doesn't have to be for GT5, but for future games? Just some food for thought.

can we hope to see WRC indycar n nascar series?
I hope we ll see .Lets take a look how much display is big

GT5 RELEASE AT TOKYO AUTO SALON WOO HOO!!! maybe. Sorry, that was a bit much excitement. That said However I'm excited to see what we will see. If he says its the biggest GT5 thing ever then we're in for some good news to soften the burn of recent news.

Edit: Took me 5 minutes to work out I'd forgotten the letter "i" in the word excitement.

This is crazy, in the interview everything is on schedule and then BAM! its all changed. I'm really hyped about this debut at TAS.

I hope they bring a new trailer revealing a little more of the new feature sets, like tuning, weather, damage, and night racing.

Sounds good, I wonder which manufacturers will be announced!

Also on a side note, this spaghetti I'm eating is staggeringly good :dopey:👍

I can't eat spaghetti, it always falls off my fork.I don't know people eat with chop sticks either, it's mind boggling.

While Porsche is out for sure now, I think we could definitely see Maserati and Koenigsegg. Would also be great if they could throw in some other small companies with new supercars like Gumpert, Ascari, Noble, and some others. Oh, and SSC for the Ultimate Aero.

What's wrong with chopsticks? I've learned to eat everything with them and sometime prefer them to a fork. As for the spaghetti, how do you do that?
