Does anyone know if Maserati is in?

If not, then Maserati and Koenigsegg.

It's speculated because of a credit mention and a picture of the team in a photo shoot with the....GranSport I think it was.

New Manufacturer deals does not only mean new "car dealerships". But aftermaket parts too, do not forget the presence of spoon,amuse,opera,mugen...ect, aftermaket part dealers in previous games, I think its time they let the cat of the bag in the lines of customization. All in all, friday and saturday should be lookin pretty good in the news department for us gear heads ;)

But don't we already know about those tuner shops? Unless you mean additional ones. But those that are in what major ones aren't yet included?

Reading my mind. I think its going to be parts related, not car manufacturers.

If it is then I'll be disappointed. I want koenigseggesgessgg and porsche, not stillen, apexi, greddy, or any of that. That being said, since blitz, nismo, hks, amuse cars are in the game and if indeed we can put aftermarket parts into cars, it would makes sense it would be parts from those companies as well as in-house tuners.
If Kaz is right and this will be a huge revealing of some sort, it has to be new. It can't be the mclaren, since it's nothing new, or anything we already know about.

My thinking as well. Tokyo Auto Salon is where tuners show off their stuff, not necessarily auto manufacturers. A taste of what's to come on the tuning side of the game would be very nice indeed. 👍

Are you headed to this weekend's Tokyo Auto Salon?

Yes, my team and I will be there. We're planning to have one of the biggest GT5 displays we've ever built. There will be more manufacturer agreements announced there as well. It'll be a great show for us.

100+ playable kiosks of Tokyo R246.

Please guys stop saying the word Porsche it makes me so sad to think about them not being in this great game.

Though I highly doubt Porsches will be in, do you think Kaz deflected the Porsche question with a direct no, only to announce it later on as a surprise?

Like I said, I highly doubt this is the case, but he's been deflecting a lot of questions lately. I do understand there are licensing issues, but hey, wishful thinking, but not the end of the world.

I think if he had said, "No, not this time" or something along those lines, we might be able to say that he's deflecting the question. But since he said, "There were licensing issues" I believe he is telling the truth here.

RUF are awesome cars no doubt. But I wouldn't say they're "a Porsche imitation" From what I understand (and I may be wrong) but you can buy them as they are or get your Porsche upgraded to RUF Specification. But either way, certainly not an imitation.

Very intresting news! New manufacturers, hmm... Maserati, Koenigsegg anyone?

I can't eat spaghetti, it always falls off my fork.I don't know people eat with chop sticks either, it's mind boggling.
Hahahaha. Even my 6 year old sister can eat spaghetti with a fork. :D

Hahaa I'm tempted to put that in my sig.

Just so the post isn't off topic, as I mentioned in a couple threads a couple days ago, GT is an offical supporting organisation of The 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon.

This link shows that GT will be in the "Concept Zone" (Halls 7 & 8)

Also, reading the descriptions of the booths has led me to a new thought: I wonder if we'll see Formula Nippon in the game?

I am hoping that one of the new manufactures will be Tata...Tata Nano..common its the worlds cheapest car + it would be nice to drive that tiny car around Nurb...lol
