We're back boys.

Even if I struggle with the options, if they can be toggled that is great for the game. I'm keeping my imagination in check for what they are supposed to add...but I am excited for the full release when we get it.

I also agree that it's good they're implementing the water/oil temps as an optional thing. Since it wasn't really a thing since till TXR3 anyway, letting people decide on it is a smart decision.

Granted I'll be having it on because I just need the absolute terror of having a boss car run up on me when my car is on the verge of boiling over from a heated battle, but your mileage may vary of course.

...Made a mistake...looked at the achievements list...had sudden flashbacks to some of the completely insane requirements from older games...hope they're just for giggles and not actually harbingers of a soul crushing.

It just looks tedious and is only made for the sake of, "How many or how long can you do a certain task" IMO. Not as ridiculous as some of GT Sport's achievements though.

Haven't seen it mentioned in here, but turning it on increases rewards by 1.5x, so it's a good tradeoff.

In the current state of the game, once you have a couple of top tier cars like the R34, RX7, Supra, etc., the game becomes too easy anyway, so some extra difficulty is welcome (as are extra credits :P)

New bosses: Swift Emperor (only his Buddha insignia was teased though), along with Phantom 9 members: Dirty Fox and Crazy Monkey.

Lexus is confirmed with the RC F Track Edition.

Add to them the bosses on that rivals list: Ryoma the Unwavering Spirit (which i think it might be the new name of Sitar Kaneyama), Lucifer Otsuka, Steel Heart and King Sandstorm.

This is just my guess, but even if they do secure the Honda license, I don't think they'll reveal it until the last minute.

They've already revealed a lot of what's in the full version. In other words, they've already used up a lot of the content that could be used to promote the full version.

That means their biggest surprises and advertising potential will inevitably be limited to a few unannounced pieces of content: Honda, brands outside of Japan, and some in-demand JDM aftermarket brands. (Releasing a console version would also be a highly effective form of advertising, but if they do this, it will probably be after the full version is released on Steam.)
This is purely speculation on my part, but even if they do have the license, I doubt they'll make any announcements about Honda or other unannounced international brands until next month.

Making such a big announcement just before the full version is released could help maintain the heat and hype leading up to the release, potentially helping sales.

Incidentally, this is still just a rumor, but when BOMEX spoke to people in the Japanese automotive industry, it seems that there are rumors that Honda Japan HQ has already granted Genki a license to feature Honda cars in the game.

It would be great if this were true.

I have just purchased the Thrustmaster T598, and hoping (but I think they would) for wheel support AND a cockpit view.

It's fairly good with my Fanatec setup. The force feedback isn't amazing or anything, but it's still fun with a wheel.

I'd be surprised if they added cockpit views though. It would be nice to have.

Something I hope will be added at some point: Steam Workshop Support. The ability to just download cars, tuning parts and game changes.

Not likely, for this game anyway. They've said there won't be any official modding support, but at the same time won't prevent people from making mods for it (and it's Unreal Engine, so that's not terribly hard to do in the grand scheme). There's already a section on NexusMods, in fact.

Looked it up, the mod community is going to be strong on this game! I love it.

Mods in this game replace cars, not add. An example would be where if you want the BMW M3 GTR, it will replace the Toyota Chaser.

Also, Nissan Hakosuka revealed.
