How much is this game at places like Toysrus, Best Buy, Gamestop, and FuncoLand? I have all these in my town, which would have it the cheapest and new, not used? Anyone know?

Gamestop will have it for barley anything like $24.99,yet toys R us
will probably have it for more like $39.99 🤬 🤬 :tapedshut :drink: :drink: :drink: :Poke: :drink:

Best Buy has it for $19.99, I would of went and got it, but they closed before I could get there. It's across town =(
I think I'll try Wal-Mart, since they're open 24 hours.

Well, I checked Walmart's website, they're asking $49.96 lol. I'll just wait til tomorrow and get it from Best Buy. But hey, those who have it, please answer these few questions!

1) What kind of stuff can you modify your car with?
2) Any Lamborghini look-alikes?

My brother has Tokyo Highway Battle on Playstation, isn't this game one of it's sequels?

I bought it for $39.99

1. You can pretty much modify everything. Aero, engine, etc...
2. That i dont know. I havent gotten that far yet.

I got mine for 20 bucks at Circuit City, and there was one left. Man, I sure am one lucky mother 🤬 .

I got mine for 22 bucks at Sam's Club, I beat Last Flight and others last night, my battle speed be4 racing Last Flight was 233mph!!!! I set my final gear ratio to max on my 911 with 900+ hp and it flew, I have only 13 people left and still no Gentle Rain, someone help me!!! (I have over 1864 total miles so I think I can face Gentle Rain)

I got it today for around $21 with tax at Best Buy. Haven't had a chance to play much, due to schoolwork :

I started with the second Silvia K look-alike in the B-Class. Changed it blue, put some black rims with a green outline on it, added the overfender (i think thats what it was called) and the hood upgrade. Also the 1st engine upgrade and last muffler upgrade for it.(

The lancer is the best to start off with I beat half the game with it.

Only 100? I beat half the game, thats 200 people with my Lancer then I bought my viper, then Speed King's car, then my 911, then my Prelude and MR-2 Spyder.

Like I care. I do things my way.

Hey, can you re-race those people you've already beaten? I'd like to know beacuse I got some good money from one last night.

**You can rerace them by rechallenging them on the road (if you win you get money again) or by pressing O on the rival menu (no money won here)**

Yep. Just go to the rival screen and pick the rival that you want to race. Then press Circle.

LoL

I just beat my first "Thirteen Devil" guy, Traitor Jack-Knife or something like that, I guess you race him @ 20 wins.

My record is 23 wins-7 losses(that 13devil guy making 3 of em')-and 1 draw

When do you start raking in the BIG MONEY??? I'm longing for a new car!

Some Thirteen devils have some good cash. So do some gangs leaders. But the most is from Wanderers.

Hmm, so the Lancer's the best to start out with? Guess I'll race a couple of races and earn some money to buy one and try it out, see if it's better.

My B.A.D. name is Simple Cat
-I hate cats
-How can I be simple when I ram everything on the road

vat man, others: the game is indeed compatible with the logitech wheel, but you have to plug it into the lower USB port (when the PS2 is horizontal). This is an odd thing as there's no info of this on the box, in the manual or inside the game itself. There are no menus for calibration or settings, so you'll just have to have your wheel reasonably centered when you plug it in/ start your PS2.

I don't seem to be able to get it to work with my Logitech wheel. I tried it in both the upper and lower USB port; with and without the DS2 already plugged in; and plugging it in before turning on the PS2 and after.

Is there some other setting I'm missing? The wheel works fine with GT3.

Thanks,
Rick

I don't know what else to tell you apart from what you've quoted above...
Wheel in lower USB, turn on the machine, play with force feedback...

Mine is the GT Force wheel (if you have the Driving Force wheel, that might make a difference maybe?)
Also, mine is the PAL version of the game, but that seems an unlikely factor.

Oregon, huh? I've stayed there for a couple of months. Mostly around Canyonville, but we had some trips to the coast (Bandon), and also to California and Montana.

Hope this helps, good luck! :)

Well...mine is the Driving Force, so that may be the problem. I'll see if I can borrow one and see if that works.

If it's been a while since you've been to Canyonville, it might be hard to recognize. The Cow Creek Tribe has put in a large casino with a convention center and a hotel. A lot of other businesses have sprung up around it. I think that eventually all the Indian Tribes in the US will make enough money on casinos to buy their land back. :-)

Thanks for the reply,
Rick

Heey! :) Are you from that area?

I was there in 1997, and the Seven Feathers Casino was already there. In fact, we celebrated a rather moist halloween there...

If you don't get your hands on a GT Force wheel, you may want to try out a Wingman Formula Force wheel (the red one for the PC) as it is basically the same as the GT Force wheel.

I work in Roseburg, a few miles north of Canyonville.

Thanks, I'll see if I can get ahold of one.

Rick

Yeah, we went to Roseburg a lot. I used to look for comics in Heroes' Haven and the other one... Neverland? The one next to ...taco bell, I think. We also bought horse stuff there, and went to the malls. Shannon, whom we stayed with, used to work at the water plant near Roseburg.

We bought our Nintendo 64 in Roseburg. and also used to eat at a chinese restaurant called Golden ...something... I believe.

Anyway, good luck with the steering wheel! :)
